Best item for Chrimbus? Feel like bragging and lording over the rest of us all the amazing gifts you got and want to make us jealous? Feel free to share them here, ****.

Don't celebrate Christmas? Too bad, go whine somewhere else (unless you celebrate Hanukah and then tell us what you got for that instead).

Here's the best gift I gave this year. So proud of myself on this. Only thing is that it won't come until mid January. I already warned the recipient of the delay on their final gift. She's going to sh*t herself when she gets it.

Best gift received? Easily this Onion magnet which I'm putting in my cube at work tomorrow.

I received a new car stereo which is pretty nifty. Although it may be old hat to many of you, I've always just ran with the stock radio in my cars so being able to load up a little 16GB USB stick with music and plug it into my stereo is good times for me. Beats fiddling with my MP3 player.

Copy of The Onion's Book of Known Knowledge and Stephen Colbert's America Again: Re-Becoming The Greatness We Never Weren't. The Onion one was especially nice since I haven't seen a new Onion book out for a while. I miss the annual compilations they used to do.

$25 at the Google Play store. $50 at Tiger Direct and assorted clothing items.

Big gifts for the rest of the family included a quartz and diamond ring that Flea saw at the store and said "I'm going to walk over here now and if someone wanted to put this on hold..." and the 13 year old kid got an Android tablet. Two year old child got the usual stuff you'd expect a two year old kid to get.

That was last year. I imagine a pony was likely this year.

I got:
Some booze. (Vodkas)
A shirt I won't be able to ear for a while, cuz I need to lose like over 100lbs to even maybe look at it (happens every year, and I don't know why. It ends in an argument too, but my mother buys me clothing I can not fit into due to them being 2-3 sizes to small)
Another shirt that is heavy duty. Not sure where I'd wear it, but I would not need to wear a coat with it.
Some chips that are suppose to look like Voodoo dolls, not sure if they do. Yet to open them.
Some "hot" sauces/dips.
A Chinese calendar from a place we like to order from lol.
Some socks, that I will wear at work.
Super Street Fight 4 Arcade version for ps3.
D3 (Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Heart game) for 3DS.
Some arty things to paint.
A Child's spelunking helm
a Yoda stocking hat
The Dark Knight trilogy, bluray versions. Was a walmart deal.
A knife my grandmother said was my grandfather's (so if it was, it is like old. But it is in a case... I don't know.)
And some money.

So really a bunch of junk and 3 things I actually asked for.

My haul:
  • A mild case of food poisoning from contaminated dried fruit of all things
  • Two $50 gift cards to stores I shop at
  • MSI HD Radeon 7770
  • Random trinkets
  • Various charity donations as done by friends, as I myself did for them (mine was APOPO HeroRats.)

Got about what I spent, aside from the blanket donation for friends to APOPO, so I'm pleased with my haul.

New gloves, a swanky set of dominoes, a new piercing for my NSFW area... (the jewelry is new I mean), and I didn't have to make supper! It was a good Christmas.

My roommates and I haven't exchanged gifts yet, but I'm certain they both got me anime, since I recognize the logo on two of the boxes and I know what they were getting each other, which wouldn't come from that site. From my family, I got the following:

Birthday
-A new sweater
-A book
-A set of Pathfinder pawns

Christmas
-Summer Wars on Blu-Ray
-Spice and Wolf Season 2 Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack
-a new work shirt
-a Sacred Blacksmith wall scroll

Edit: My roommates got me blind box deals. Both results were pretty cool, however one was Spice and Wolf Seasons 1 and 2 Blu-Ray DVD(I already own both seasons). The other was episodes 27-52 of Soul Eater, which, while cool, still means now I need episodes 1-26. Somehow, I knew that one of those two boxes they ordered would be one of the animes I'd already gotten this year. Smiley: laugh

Lets see, I got some nice hand blown blue drinking glasses for my kitchen, the traditional "hardest puzzle ever" puzzle, some christmas ornaments, green papery things, A new Spektrum DX8 radio transmitter for the helicopter fleet and a home depot gift card. This is the first christmas ever I didn't get any books or book gift cards. Also a new Knee brace to support the patella I apperently fractured due to a particularily annoying incident involving a wheelchair and a ramp with a 30% slope that I was assisting with.

I may have also bought myself a bunch of toys to improve my media PC, including a ceton 4 tuner Mcard digital interface card.

My daughter got me a set of Lego's, is a cool ghost train, sadly this will just end up making me want to finish another collection. Wife got me a few games, a couple shirts, a pair of sneakers, an iPhone to replace my crappy one and new tires for my Vrod which I had planned on replacing in the spring.

Wife got another pocketbook, I thought the like 10 overpriced ones she already had was enough, apparently I was wrong. She got a couple of Pandora charms from the kids.

The older brat got a long board and another deck for boarding, he keeps breaking them, Some new trucks/bearings/wheels to go along with it, Sneakers a few games and we got him an iPhone as well.

My daughter made out like a bandit though, I told my mother she wanted a "biddy baby" to go along with her AG doll, She ended up getting her twins. A ton of clothing for her AG dolls and highchairs for the "baby's, Some clothing for herself, ton of "monster high" crap. An iPad mini of her own, A few sets of these newer "girl" Lego's, A damn furby and a bunch of stuff I don't even remember buying.

The dog got a bone and the birds got a new playtoy.

I bought myself Skyrim.
Parents got me golfballs and some warm fuzzy socks. Smiley: inlove
In-laws sent some money which the wife wants to put to a new laptop.

It's the kids that really had a ball though. Remembering how much fun Christmas used to be back then. We still have things they haven't unwrapped. Not that they got crazy amounts of stuff, but you can't get something new without spending an hour playing with it. Only then can you go back to the tree. Smiley: lol

Big hits included: an Innotab, Etch-a-stetch, Barbie car, and a ball shooting elephant. Elephant is pure win as far as the littlest one is concerned. Happy squeals. Smiley: grin

Went shopping yesterday, so my list is now longer and with more "stuff" I needed >.>
-I bought Adventure Time game for my 3DS.
-Bought some CDs (La Roux and Deadmau5)
-Bought a Razer Nostromo
-Bought a Wii U and Super Mario to go with it (this wasn't xmas money...but I bought it yesterday when I found a place selling the black ones).
-And I bought one of these. The yellow one to be exact (it is funny cuz i have dark brown hair). It is freaking awesome. I wore it almost all day (took it off inside stores to not "scare" people... but the ones who saw me in it seemed to dig it). Now I have this major urge to learn to knit >.> so I can make "better" ones :D

Yea I spent a lot of money yesterday :o

Thing I'm most excited about is my purple furby. Yes, I am a 29 year old woman and I'm tickled to death that I got a furby for Christmas from my mom. =x I also got a pretty cool looking ball puzzle thing from my aunt, a very nice locket from my step-dad along with $30 worth of iTunes gift cards, a bottle of wine, a set of speakers for my ipod (which I also intend on using with my netbook), and various other nick-knacks.

I got my boyfriend the most amazing cologne ever, Axe Labs (it has smexy pheromones in it). Still waiting for him to send me my present.

So I didn't get any presents because I have no luggage space. But my parents are giving me money for holiday in San Diego. I'll be flying down from Seattle tomorrow.

A good Christmas this year. Can't wait to get home to Tokyo.
