I like both of them, but HIMYM is more my style, despite my love of most things nerd or science related.

However, I've watched all of HIMYM, so now I'm working my way through BBT. I think I watched too much of it. Last night I had dreams about the manga Berserk, except Guts was Leonard. Hilariously disturbing.

Raising Hope is better than both. And New Girl is hit or miss, but damn is it ever funny when it hits.

BBT is one of those shows that has been around forever now and I don't think I've seen 30 combined minutes of it. Two & A Half Men is another such show. Good or bad, I've managed to keep it completely off my radar for the last umpteen years.

HIMYM is usually good although I never catch first runs, only seen it in syndication. New Girl has brief flashes of funny but they never involve Zooey Deschanel who I find to be remarkably unfunny on the show. Raising Hope is pretty good. Think the only other show I'll stop and watch when I'm passing through the room is Modern Family.

The only shows I make a point of tuning in for are Archer and Mad Men. Any other watching is splash damage from the wife.

ZOMG! ZOMBIE-SWM!!

BBT? Seen it twice or thrice. Didn't grab me hard enough to care to go out of my way to watch it again, though.

Ted annoys the ever loving hell out of me. I cannot stand him.

Everyone else is pretty cool, though.

TBBT is one of my favorite shows. It's pretty awesome! I may be a bit bias since I was able to go see a recording of one of the episodes a season or two ago. Also, 2 Broke Girls is pretty good though it is predicatively vulgar.

Heathens.

My partner and I adore Sheldon, and we both know he has quite a few Sheldon-like qualities. So when I saw a Sheldon T-shirt in shades of blue on black, I just had to buy it for him to go with all his other Think-Geek T-shirts. Unfortunately he is too unlike Sheldon that he was mortified at the idea of proclaiming his Sheldonhood visually, and demanded I return the T-shirt, because he couldn't bear to wear it.

Aww I can't believe he made you return it? I got my husband one similar and he loves it. I believe we now have 3 BBT themed shirts. His favorite seems to be the Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock.

I should have made him play it for the right not to wear the shirt, but I can never remember what Lizard beats. So I hid the T-shirt under the bed and I'm going to gift it to my nearest male relative for his birthday.

Half of them will love it, and the other half can just wear it. Smiley: mad

Spock smashes scissors???

That seems a bit wayward of him. Does he need the parts for something? Wouldn't dismantling scissors result in more usable parts?

So I know the hand sign for Spock.

How do you sign a lizard?

Ya, but... what about a stationary single shape to create with your hand, like the other four signs would be.

I forget what Lizard looks like, but I think squishing your fingers together in a plane, and then putting your thumb straight out under the middle two fingers, sort of like a sock puppet with its mouth closed, looks kind of like a lizard head. It's a bunny without the ears.

Breaking Bad is awesome.

So is Castle. Don't judge me.

I love Breaking Bad, it's a good show. Ending this summer unfortunately.

I've never watched Castle but I know I'd love the main guy who was the captain in Firefly. :)

Really, I think for most people that this is the wrong place to criticize the amount of media that others consume.

Good thing I critized TV specifically, and not media in general, eh?
