1. a. I post in the OoT. According to ZAM lore, this precludes me having any standards.
1. b. "Call-out" threads, while on the wane, are historicaly acceptable; that's my experience in the last 7 years, anyway.
1. c. Reporting it doesn't let me +1, though.

2. I'm not concerned; I'm bored.

3. Something, something, tone difficult to gauge via text alone, etc. Really, ask anyone; I don't have what you'd call a history of being pissy to anyone here. (excluding gbaji, of course).


ALSO: I'm not sure if that applies to this discussion, but an excuse is an excuse, amirite?

asakawa breaks 5 year posting hiatus to post in this thread. That's totaly normal.

I mean, sure, maybe the servers are wonky and are inaccuratly showing that in "recent posts", but somehow I doubt it.

asakawa just decided to make a post when I mentioned this thread to him on gtalk. We're both members of Wowhead staff.

I came to Allakhazam back when I was playing FFXI (a long time ago) but it never really became a "home" after I stopped playing. Wowhead did though, which is why I'm still on the staff there, even after I stopped playing WoW (well.. I'm off and on, you know).

Sas is awesome, you should be nice to him ^_^

I could see your reason for suspicion after asakawa started talking randomly. But, prior to that... I'm not sure what provoked it, a new person making a lot of posts? I guess. Our forum systems are very different on Wowhead though, we don't have a rating system for forum posts/replies and our database comments section (which does have voting) has a script that helps to detect sock accounts.

It's just a bit of a different atmosphere over here, I'll do my best not to rock the boat too much. ;)

Plus I'm bored and some forum drama would be welcome now.

You know that mentality of , it's new and I don't understand it, therefore evil? Yup that pretty much sums up how most boards view new posters.

That and most posters are burned out, don't see a ton of new members posting, and the few "new" people posting are A) Please take my survey for School, B) Please watch my Youtube/Podcast/Stream C) General Spam.

When I saw your other post in another thread first thing i thought was oh god another spammer, until a saw the custom avatar, and just shrugged it off and figured you weer a new user or something.

Also Bijou is jumping the gun, or thinking Kao isn't doing his job becuase Kao loves to kill socks,and it would be kind of hard to make a sock with premium without having questions come up as to why 2 account have the same name on the pay stub. (I haven't signed up for prem so I don't know if there is an anonymous way to do it.)
