This is how to start off the week rightFollow

Woke up this morning with a slightly sore jaw, didn't think anything of it.

Had a meeting at 9:30, it was hurting a bit more, figured I probably slept funny on it.

By 10:30 I had little gnomes chipping away at the nerve of one of my teeth. I called my dentist and they agreed to bring me in at 1:30 for a look-see.

The wisdom tooth on my upper left side has impacted the molar in front, causing it the nerve in that molar to go necrotic and abscess. I have a nasty infection and will need an emergency root canal on Wednesday. They're going to need to shave off part of the wisdom tooth and give it a filling while it's still not fully erupted, in the hopes that by doing so it will continue its journey and possibly erupt the rest of the way. Otherwise, it'll have to come out next year.

So, how's your Monday been? Smiley: frown

Slow.

My condolences about your tooths, though.

Should have asked your husband about it.

Sorry to hear about the unhappy Monday. Smiley: frown

May all your teeth be fixed. Smiley: flowers

I'm trying to figure out why a client hasn't received a couple of invoices. However there's a week or two gap in my e-mail log right now that's frustrating me. There's always a gap between when the e-mails are deleted from our main account and when they show up in the searchable archive. The e-mails I need to see would have been sent out in that gap, which is frustrating my efforts to track down what may or may not have happened. Smiley: mad

Also, 2 sets of samples getting ready for the instrument (assuming all the gunk from over the weekend can be washed off), 2 in data analysis right now, another set just started digesting, printing out an online coloring book for the daughter, archiving data in our LIMS, and probably other stuff I'm neglecting to remember.

Edit: Also also, my computer is being frustratingly slow today. I'm testing a piece of software I rewrote and it's bogging the whole thing down. I need a new computer! Smiley: mad

Struggling with fatigue that seems to have come from getting off the happy pills I was on. They say they can ***** with your sleep habits quite a bit, and part of me is wondering if my recent tiredness and memory problems were partly due to the fact I'd been on them and hadn't gotten a good night sleep in like a year. All that's on the back burner though, just random stuff that popped to mind.

Hectic day. Smiley: rolleyes

Considering how much I was twitching reading the description, I'm so sorry.

Otherwise, my Monday has been decent. I've taken on more administrative duties at work, and it turns out I don't mind them. Which is pretty much the best case scenario.

Funny enough, I'm the one that's constantly shoving his face around at night trying to get his breathing to quiet down (mild sleep apnea.) He also snores, but if I elbow him enough he'll turn on his side and stop.

You should be careful with that, no snoring can easily turn into no breathing.

After I had one of my wisdom teeth cause me more pain than a tooth has any right to cause, I just had them all yanked. It was easier that way.

If I had to guess, I'd say Norco 5/325 or if you she has an issue with Hydrocodone, than possibly Tramadol. You'd have to have some seriously messed up teeth to get anything stronger.

As long as he sleeps on his side he's fine, but he likes to sprawl out flat with his big nose pointed straight up. So I'll shift his head from side to side to get his air passages opened better. People with sleep apnea are told to sleep on their sides for this reason (if it's not bad enough to warranty surgery, which his is not.)
