I am getting ads in the LOTRO forumsFollow
I pay premium access so I don't have to deal with the ads. Please fix this.
Could you get us a source code from that page, I have been using the lotro stylesheet for awhile now and no ads, so I need your help to find the culprit.
I thought the problem was fixed since they eventually stopped. Next time it happens I'll be sure to post the source.
The ads did not appear every time, but would come up at various times when I was reading through the forums. It was almost always an ad for Windows Vista.

Maybe it will help if I explain a bit further. I was looking for information on obtaining an Ancient Emblem for Journeyman Metalsmithing on Google. I found a link to Allakhazam with some potentially useful information. Since I pay for premium access primarily for FFXI, I thought I would check out the LOTRO forums.
As I continued to search through the forums, sometimes an ad would load. I thought "Maybe I'm not logged in" but I clicked on "Login" and I saw my User login/details (I was already logged in). I clicked on FFXI to see if I would get them in the FFXI forums. I saw no ads in any of the forums there.
When I went back to LOTRO forums, the ads popped up again. After posting here the ads appeared a couple more times and then stopped entirely.
I was thinking I might get a response like "you pay premium for FFXI content, not LOTRO content, you noob!"

That is definately not the case. The premium access you pay for is for the network and not specific to the site(s) you were using when you signed up.
Is it an ad appearing within the site itself or a popup?
It looks like you access allakhazam.com from a university. Does this only happen when you view from the university or at home as well? If it only from the university there is an easy explaination for it. What you probably see on the pages that contain ads is that you aren't logged in for that pageview. That is because the university would cache that page after someone before you has viewed it and that someone wasn't premium. We see this all the time with schools and military bases. Unfortunately, there is no solution to it. Cache servers tend to not keep the content long, which is why sometimes you see it happen more often than others.
What browser are you using to access the site, and are you on comcast by any chance?
