Has the site changed or have I done something?

On the forum main pages, the column that used to show the rating for the opening post has gone and the other columns seem squashed.

Why is this?

Try checking your add ons, as I've been having issues of late with my home PC using Firefox and it's always been an update on eithr FF itself, or one of the addons. I've rmeoved the culprit and everything's cleared up. The other option that often works, is clearing your cache.

The problem actually stems from a post with a very long title that's just a bit too long in 1024x non-premium:

Setting css to break the word up doesn't seem to apply since it's in a table cell that varies in width. :(
