I've been maintaining a thread in the Rift General forum and today after several edits, it started truncating my original post. I'm guessing that this is cropping up because I have edited so many times. Is it fixable?

Link? You could always remove the edit message from all the previous times.

I've already edited the first post down and re-posted in post #6 as a result, but to give you an idea:

The first time it happened after I edited it amputated the post after the following line:

Quote:

Moonshade
Intercepting the Spellbook
-- Kira is NNE of Faceless Man--as far north as you can get on the map and up in

The second time it happened after I edited it amputated another large chunk of lines, to which I just decided "***** it" and re-posted further down. I'll try again right now and see what happens.

And now it works.

My mind boggles but I'm not complaining! :D

Edit: I take that back. It's dying on me again. >_>

Look at it in edit view. Is it right? If so, you've probably got something it thinks is markup somewhere and it's trying to parse it as such.

I thought that might be the case at first, but one of the things I did was copy the text from the edit word for word completely and posted it in the new post. No problems on the new post.

It may be an issue with the fact that I was doing it from work. >_> Today was the first time that happened though. I guess I'll hold off on editing for a bit until I have something non-cosmetic.
