Where is the documentation to tell you how to use the item collector?

There is a readme.txt file in the installed directory. There isn't much to running Item Collector once you have it configured. Basically it does everything on it's own, except export / upload character profiles, which the upload part is explained in the readme file, and exporting is similar and will be obvious once you're at the profiles window.

If you can't find an answer there, or in the FAQ, then you might explain in more detail what you're wanting to know.

If you're having trouble getting an item to update, but not getting an error from Item Collector, you may want to have a look at this thread. If it's an error you are getting, then posting the last few lines before and up to the error, will help the developers determine what may be wrong.
