I don't know if it's relevant, but what browser(including version number and addons) are you using? That way, if it is relevant, you'll have already given that info when someone comes on who has enough technical knowledge to help you with this particular problem comes online.

after i couldn.t log to wowhead anymore i upgraded my internet explorer to the last version.
9.0. I have only windows firewall and nothing is blocked. Also disabled it, and tried to connect.
still nothing.

Nothing is blocked in my router

But it isn't something related to my pc, i have the same problems when i try it on on of the other computers. Also the browsers arent the same on the pc's, neither are the programms running on the pc's.

so basicly it has to be something related to my router or provider

Is your setup one where you bypass the router to test that out? Mine, for instance, allows me to connect directly to the cable modem when I suspect an issue may lie with my router.

i am at the moment on my laptop, directly connected to my modem
still same problem

but if i ping www.wowhead.com i get host not found

Kinda weird. This almost sounds like it's going to take waiting on a coder or other tech person who actually works for the site to wake up.

Almost sounds like an ISP problem. Have you tried driving around the neighborhood with your laptop looking for an unsecured signal to latch onto and test?

Try entering the IP directly into your address bar. It sounds like something's gone wrong with your DNS and you might just need to flush it. You sound like you're on Windows, so do this:

Open the command prompt (press Windows + R to open the "run" dialog and type "cmd")
Type "ipconfig /flushdns"

See if that helps.

i have tried entering the ip directly in to my browser, but it changes to wwww.wowhead.com directly.
Just tried to flush dns like you said and get the message cache is emptied.

but still cant connect to the site

The sites up and running, it sounds like either your ISP is blocking the site, which would be wierd, or you have somethign on your computer blocking connection to wowhead for some reason. That could be a hosts file, a virus, spyware, ad blockers set incorrectly, etc. You might want to run through the computer cleaning worksheet over in the tech support forum to eliminate your computer as a ssuspect. if it still doesn't work after, then you will want to call your ISP and have them fix it on their end.

If it was only this pc i would probably think something on it is blocking it.
But every single pc here has it. And on most pc's there has never been an attempt before to acces wowhead.

I already send an email to my provider, but i would be really suprised if i ever will hear something back.

Yeah, the problem is most likely on your ISP's end then unfortunatly. We'll be happy to offer them any assistance if they need it to figure out what is being blocked, but not much we can do in the mean time.
