You do business with a d3.zedo.com?

They have an annoying pop-under when viewing on a free account/not logged in.

Edit: FYI, no thought that this is spyware, it's just a redirector to Gorillasomethingorother. Just not sure if this is a "bad ad" or not.

That's the link that pops under. I don't recall, but I believe pop-unders are something you guys frown on . . .?

IIRC certain areas receive a pop under of 1 per every 24 hours? Don't quote me as I could be remembering that wrong.

Sounds about right, DF.

I rarely notice this on Akz since it's set to log me in automatically on pretty much every computer I use. Wowhead, however, has a tendency to log me out for no apparent reason (or is simply incapable of remembering my password and "log me in automatically" settings for more than 24 hours) and often makes me want to punch someone - hard.

The only thing more annoying than pop-ups are pop-unders. And it's such a ridiculous way to "sneak" in advertisement that I don't know if I should laugh or cry. The entire purpose of advertisement is to make the user see the advertisement banner. The pop-under is hidden from view instantly and only "seen" when the user closes it, assuming the user isn't proficient enough with a computer to close the window without opening it first.

I find it hilarious that an advertisement on a website dedicated to people who use a computer regularly (if not religiously) would assume this.

That's just my opinion, anyway. I understand the need for ad revenue to keep sites afloat, but pop-unders annoy me. Greatly.

OMG I feel ya, I have to log in to wowhead often to assist in user issues. I cuss each time. But both problems you speak of I have no control over, sorry. :(
