Surely didn't get almost all 1600 in <1 hr. Even ones 7 years old, that don't show up any more.

Karma camping is what I thought at first till I went back many years and all were now decent. And all the feedback forums as well, which can only be rated by an admin.

EDIT: Don't mean to sound upset or anything, if it comes off that way. Just curious as to what happened, and a little rushed as I have to leave in a few minutes.

I see what happened. Essentially, someone pressed a button on accident that they shouldn't have and look like they were not intending to, and the undo of that particular button causes a reset of certain things, in this case your karma of prior posts to 3.00 across the board. Your base karma however remains unaltered. Given how karma is calculated, it could concievably reset to a lower rate someday. If that happens, I will reset it back to what it should be, so no worries on that score. The more pressing issue is what about the previous posts. Their origional values are probably gone, for which I appologize, I can probably have them reset to your current karma easily enough, but that would essentially lock you in at that particular karma forever. Under your present circumstances you might actually theoretically have a better chance of karma scroe going up with the way things sit than they would otherwise.

So, with that in mind, how would you like me to proceed. It's our error, so we will make it right. Feel free to PM me instead if you would rather discuss it there, and if you need further details of what happened.

It's fine as is. Just thought it was bizarre and wondered what happened. Thanks for explaining it. :)

EDIT: What is the score cut off also, when you find it? EDIT 3: n/m, you meant for guru, which is easy enough to find (I think). I was thinking a maximum karma cutoff.

EDIT: Or the other way, which ever way is best for you to do.

It does help :) Finally got the Guru goal, and only took, umm, 2011 - 2007, 4 years, when I set the goal.

Good fix admins! (Timely and upfront about it --refreshing vs. some other places I won't mention)

Yther is very well respected on the Everquest general boards --no doubt in my mind he'll have his new karma status locked in place after a short time.

Can I get free guru, too? I don't really care, but it would fun to lord it over Kirby.

I hear the Dahli Lama is free, and he's certainly a guru.
