Regarding TORhead and ZAMFollow

I know that we use the same logins on both sites and whatnot, but how intertwined are they? I ask because there are SWTOR forums on here, and SWTOR forums on TORhead (and I assume it's similar between WoW and WoWhead). However, they are different forums. I can see having the forum stay in the parent site's skin, but why not have TOR General on ZAM link to teh same forum as TOR General on TORhead? Seems to be counterproductive as you split the community up.

I primarily use ZAM for the forums, perusing the OOT, Asylum and of course, /K/. I use TORhead for item lookups, but rarely browse the forum on there. Likewise, I'm sure many people use TORhead as their primary TOR source, and aren't aware of the forum community on ZAM. It just feels like it would make much more sense to have the communities co-mingle.

On the back-end, the forum systems are totally and completely different and not compatible. Not sure why we actually still have swtor forums since torhead came online. Have to ask about that.

Well, if that's the case, you could have TOR General still listed on here, and have it link to the TORhead forum. Or just a general link for SWTOR Forums that links there, I guess. Of course, I probably won't ever really post on the TORhead forums, to be honest. I like being able to switch between all the ZAM forums without having to go to an external site.
