Dont ask me I didn't choose the name, From what little research i did it means either seething pool, or refers to some kind of ravine.

What is this some kind of attempt at a shutout. People could just as easily assume that your attempt at barring my arguments is a cowardly way of admitting your stupidity. Climb down off your pedestal and try and imagine for a second that your "requirements" for a mature debate only narrows viewpoint and alienates you from the rest of those who seek one.

Ok lets try an attempt to climb to your level than shall we. Bhodi you are a retarded ****. Moe you are an infintile monkey ****. With the obvious out of the way, both of you suffer from the same problem. As children you were violated by dogs, this resulted in severe brain damge, a fear of all things with four legs and a strange atraction to hairy men.

Are you saying that you wish you had four legs or that you want to be a hairy man? Why are you speaking in riddles when all you really are trying to say is that you wish Moe and Bodhi would double team you behind the dumpster like the football team does each weekend. You poor jaded thing.

Haven't you read the thread it turns out this is mature debate. I've seen the light, intelligence does not matter as long as good insults are hurled about. I am so glad that you've chosen me to accept this great knowledge, my only hopes are that one day my tongue shall burst into flame so I can dish out burns left and right with the slighteset of ease.

I petition you o almighty moe to change his excellency to his holiness. Your underlings must be taught the proper respect.

Althrun,

As the father of a few, the grandfather of a few and very, very happy to share the responsibility in their upbringing, I find the situation to be sad. From an emotional level. I would have granted the "right" to bring the child into being. Saying that, if I had the money/time/desire/patience and understanding to spend time with *her, so that I could be close to the child, I would do so.

If it was intolerable to be anywhere in the vicinity of the woman, I would ask the court for the right to supervised visits controlled by another family member I could get along with, or by a court appointed nurse. If that was turned down, then I would wait until the child was out of infancy, and sue for partial custody.

To me, and nay-sayers be damned, involvement in a childs life is second to no other pleasure. (Until they become teenagers)

I did read the thread. I did see the "Oh I am smart, but don't get the point" comments and the "I think I'm smart let me come play comments." Those aside, emotional hang ups are what determines someone's "feelings" about a particular issue, to include the assignation of morality to the issue. Understandable human flaw.

Yes I'm new. To The Asylum anyway. Very interesting reading.

Like hubris?

Myself and quite a few respondants were have children and are quite devoted to them. The fact that we don't agree with you doesn't win you any moral high ground.

I wouldn't take umbrage to someone that claims to be enamored of the idea of being involved with a child until said child develops an opinion along with his ability to think logically right around puberty. Apparently, he has issues with people that have opinions.

I support the man's claim in every respect. However, I have a question. Why do some of you agree that it takes both parents' consent to create a child, but only takes the woman's decision to terminate a pregnancy?
