Poor Rush. He can't root for either side anymore. He's an outcast, drifting alone on the seas of hatred and invective.

At this point, there really can't be anyone surprised that they're just ineffectual mouthpieces that can't come up with their own material.

I'd rather hear "Hi, I'm from the government and I'm here to help, funded by your taxpayer dollars" than "Hi, I'm from Private Corporation and I'm here to help, at the cost of $199 for the first hour and $100 dollars for each hour thereafter, with a minimum of two hours. Maximum weekly rate is $10,000. Some restrictions apply. You must be eighteen or older to receive aid, and agree to our binding arbitration agreement which prevents class action litigation..."

OHNOEZ RUSH SEZ SANTACLAWZ!!!

It would be amusing to hear you guys try to explain to me why you think I vote Democratic (although I assume it'd boil down to "you done been brainwashed") since every time I hear the Usual Radio Leaders try to explain it, they get it hilariously wrong.

Was that supposed to be two sentences? Because I'm not sure it says what you wanted it to say. Not that grammar is expected to be perfect or anything, but that one could use another edit or two. Smiley: rolleyes

The funny thing about food stamps is that plenty of people who work full time or part time are on them, too.

I'd rather keep employed people off food stamps by preventing the exploitation of low wage workers, but that just makes me a tree hugging liberal.

Yeah because you're such an individual.

Come back if unemployment goes back below 5% and the number of people on food stamps reduces under Democrat control.
You're really obsessing over food stamps. Did your ration get cut?

Actually, the last time the unemployment rate in the US was below 5% for more than a month or two, was from December '05 through November '07, a period of time where you insist that all the bad stuff was starting to happen because the Democrats had control of the house(or the senate, I forget which one you and Varus always insist it is). Before that, it was below 5%, and even as low as 3% at poitns during Clinton's presidency from July '97, til September '01, at which point it rose continually until June '03 before levelling out and slowly declining straight through until the financial crisis started to show up. Since then, it went up, peaked in '09, and has consistently fallen since then. And, if you look at the data, you can clearly see that aside from this financial crisis, during the last 60 years or so, it has always been at it's highest when Republicans held more power(with the exceptions of Eisenhower's and Nixon's presidencies). Hell, it nearly hit 11% during Reagan's presidency, never going below 6% until Nov '87, going back up again to almost 8% during Bush Sr's presidency and then dropping during Clinton's.

If you're not willing to look at the numbers, the cold, hard facts, then you can't expect anyone to take you seriously. That being said, I'm only a supporter(as much as a Canadian can be) of the Democrats right now, because the Republicans have been nominating some of the worst people as their candidates(as an addendum, if I'd been an American, and old enough to vote, I'd have voted Bush in '04, because Kerry was a terrible choice). I don't care about the party, I care about the individuals within the parties and their views and actions, and right now, the Republicans are the party that moves backwards, wheras the Democrats are the party that at least attempts to slowly inch forward.

That's the thing you don't care about individuality. You talk about the cold hard numbers but blame the unemployment rate of the last four years on W. Take a look at the average unemployment rate and the number of people on food stamps during W's first term before the democrats took congress and intentionally sabotaged the economy. Those are the cold hard facts of it. Not that the average over a four year period matter as much as over the periods of one specific year, but over four years, half of which with the Dems having a certain amount of power in the House and/or Senate, the average comes to 5.0836734693877551020408163165306%. That is from January 2005 until January 2009. I can;t find any good data on food stamp usage during that entire time, however, I did find an article that mentioned a 10million increase during W's second term. However, I'd like to make the point that these two things don't go hand in hand as many of those who work, still collect food stamps.

So now the Democrats have controlled the senate the last 8yrs and the presidency the last four. And you obamapologists still refuse to take any responsibility for this. In fact Democrats were the primary cause behind the recession with the community re investment act that caused the housing and mortgage crisis. As I have said before, and as I have backed up with serious research, and a very hard look at all the information, the CRA had absolutely NOTHING to do with the crisis, and in fact, those banks that followed the CRA turned out to be those that weathered the storm best, whereas those that did not, needed bailout money. I've been asking you for weeks now to give me your source for your information so that I can see it, and either refute it with facts, or adapt my beliefs and opinions accordingly, you have not delivered even that, ergo, I have to tell you that you're full of **** on this part.

And when obamacares effect is 100 times worse than the reinvestment act you'll look to blame someone else. But the harsh reality is when over half of this country is reliant on government there can be no liberty or freedom for anyone. Under the facade of compassion you liberal democrats have stripped away that which is most important. And what effect has Obamacare had, exactly? I've found evidence to support both sides of the argument, but, the evidence for your side is so easily refuted, that it's almost pointless to keep this up. I'll also mention, my personal opinion on Obamacare, specifically that, any far-reachign reforms to the US health care system should have waited until after recovery from the crisis, and that, if Obamacare had turned your system into something like the Canadian Health Care system, your assertions would have some weight to them, as THAT would have ****** everything

I suppose it's good that you can all laugh and joke about it. In the meantime pray you don't run afoul with the Obama administration or you might end up having you door kicked in during the middle of the night and dragged off to the camps, we call them prisons now. Ok, what? Now you're in tinfoil hat territory. No matter how much you seem to want it to be that way, this isn't a thing that's happening. There is absolutely no evidence to support this, and even with the legislation enacted both during W's and Obama's presidencies, this isn't a thing that can happen. What's next for you? Chem trails? HAARP? Are you going to blame Obama for 9/11 next? By all means, say something more insane than what you just said, I'd love to hear it
