Got married, surfed for the first time, dove with sharks, saw sea turtles and seals, golfed, had a fish spit water at my wife, sang karaoke for the first time, drove a convertible, and feasted like a king.

'Twas a good trip.

So....what'd I miss? The usual?

Congrats. Your wife's a hottie. You're not too bad, either. Gorgeous pic.

What'd you think of Hawaii?

Oh, and you've done more in Hawaii in a week than I have in almost a whole year. Jerk.

Holy crap, has it been that long already? Seems like you just moved a couple months ago.

STP's Plush. It was, by all accounts, pretty good, though I suspect most were being generous with that claim. I can at least say with some certainty that it wasn't bad, because the wife let me back up to sing a second song. Smiley: lol

I'll let her know; she'll be quite flattered. Smiley: tongue

Ah, thank you, thank you. The pic's actually not one of the better ones, IMO. Here's her with my guy friends:

We spent all our time in Oahu, mostly on the North Shore. Absolutely loved it. Weather cooperated perfectly...wasn't ever too hot, and barely a drop of rain. Everyone was incredibly friendly, from the hotel staff, to the waiters, to the random people that we met during the trip. We're both quite partial to the laid-back attitudes and the "island time" pace. The wife says she could live there; it's a bit too remote for me, but perfect for a vacation. We'd definitely both go back in a heartbeat.

How're you finding it thusfar, Belk?

Very pretty young lady, Eske. You did good.

I'm enjoying it here so far. The bugs scare me, mostly, and the cost of living is stupid expensive. I need to find a job that I like more than the one I have. But as far as living here, it's nice. We live in East Hawaii, so it rains a lot here, but it's mostly in the evenings for early morning. It keeps the flora very lush, and I've never seen orchids and poinsettia's growing wild before. The flowers are so gorgeous. And being able to go to the beach every weekend if you want is a nice plus.

Congrats! That's an awesome picture...

Was that on the wedding day or was that part of the pictures done before the wedding?

Day of the wedding, for both.

We had to wait a while for the sunset in the first pic. Nobody tells you how awkward the photo sessions are. Lots of aimless walking, fake laughing, and kisses held for way too long. It's kind of like the Zoolander "Dance, monkey!" photo shoot.

Remember, if you're in a fight, it's best to concede the point to her quickly. Us wives don't take too kindly to losing arguments.

A riff on the fact that 73% of the forum thinks I'm a girl, I'm sure. Not serious.

It's nice how the most ridiculously uncomfortable positions look the best on photos.

Also gratz! what'd you have to do to get a girl that good looking? Smiley: tongue

Haha.. guilty.. As a person who is/was often in the same boat, I should know better. Then again, I also feel wrong for automatically assuming that a poster is a male, even though males are the majority.
