It's *dramatically* different. Almost certainly not HIPAA compliant given the latest guidance on EPHI. There's an important question of it that matters at all, though. Practically, your friend is more likely to be hit by a comet than to have someone hijack her valueless transcription work.

Honestly, I don't know the chick. She posted the question on another forum and I thought I'd check around here. For me, it's not so much a question of whether or not she will actually get hacked, but more can she get a job with an MT company with that type of connection.
