I walked 'SMACK' into a light pole early yesterday evening, cut my head open, broke my glasses and bruised my knee. It was so stupid.

Still I had breakfast with my daughter in NY yesterday, dinner with my son in MA, dodged snowstorms all over the place and got home in time to watch the season finale of Downton Abbey (by generator as we'd lost power) with the hubby last night.

All in all a very good day.

Hail to the Chief!

In protest and in honor you should play quarters all day instead of doing work.

That'd be more productive than my normal work week though.

At least it wasn't a heavy pole!

My new triple monitor stand just arrived for the secondary PC, which is wierd because I dind't think there would be any shipping today. So that might be my project for the morning.

I, too, am stuck at work despite working at a hospital. It's a damn ghost town here.

And the season finale of Downton pissed me right off.

Just 'cause you walk into some ****** is no reason to break out the "stupid" comments.

Racist.

Saturday, I was drunk and jumped into a bush to entertain my friends. Survived with only a minor scratch, however.

nothing against Christians. My friends and her family mocked our dating saying God would be angry. Looks like they were right lol.

Yeah, the sad thing is, I was stone-cold sober when I slammed head first into Joph's immovable east coast cousin.

Sounds like next season will start 6 months forward. We wont have to face the family as they're confronted by yet another tragedy.

Now you're saying they're shiftless? You really need to examine your prejudices.

Now we see the hazard of thick frame glasses. There are probably thousands of hipsters wrapped around poles at this moment.
