I had no idea Japan had capital punishment, interesting system.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/dec/12/japan-condemned-secret-executions

Prisoners, who spend years, even decades, on death row, typically are not told of their execution until hours before they are led to the gallows. Their lawyers and relatives are informed only after the execution has been carried out.

In a report published in 2008, Amnesty said inmates in Japan were being driven insane and exposed to "cruel, inhuman and degrading" punishment.

I like how capital punishment was defended as being the overwhelming will of the people. That's probably why they sneak around executing people in secret.

Americanization of Japan now at 80%.

Just the obesity epidemic and xenophobic foreign policy to be sorted, and they get their own Statue of Riberty.

Banzai, y'awl.

I would have thought we're about equally xenophobic. Maybe we should give them some Messcans and even things out.

Nippon invented paranoid xenophobia long before the USA. But fear not. Social mobility within Nippon is one of the highest in the world, which makes it a long way from being America. While social mobility is thought to be "The American Dream", and the highest Good, present day America actually has one of the lowest movements in income between parents and children in the world. The American Dream is now found in Denmark.

However, both countries would probably be better off for trading some Mexicans and Koreans anyway. It would be good both for the cuisine and the immune system gene pool.

PS Dread Pirate Roberts was a *******.

It merely culls the weak, that the strong will survive.

Needs less tomato onion and lettuce. Too much salad on that meat.

The tomato, onion and lettuce simply need more trans-fat to fit in.
