The superbowl can't be held responsible for the overwhelming negativity of US humanity today. It just didn't have enough horse-power to make such an impact.
So anyways, maybe this will cheer someone up. Here are slides from Paul Krugman's first lecture on The Great Recession. Yes, hearing the lecture would be nice, but as an internet minion, one must take what they can get. It's not all doom and gloom. Before you ask, I thought it interesting - this is why I'm posting it.
Of particular interest, to me, is the long term unemployment graph. It's sad. Not like crying sad, but sad in like we could/should have done so much better with that particular statistic.
