For no particular reason it seems like everyone, everywhere is very prickly today? No, it's not me - I checked.

The superbowl can't be held responsible for the overwhelming negativity of US humanity today. It just didn't have enough horse-power to make such an impact.

So anyways, maybe this will cheer someone up. Here are slides from Paul Krugman's first lecture on The Great Recession. Yes, hearing the lecture would be nice, but as an internet minion, one must take what they can get. It's not all doom and gloom. Before you ask, I thought it interesting - this is why I'm posting it.

Of particular interest, to me, is the long term unemployment graph. It's sad. Not like crying sad, but sad in like we could/should have done so much better with that particular statistic.

Red licorice seems to be making an impact on local attitudes.

I'm happy. Smiley: grin

Edit: I think you need to be happy too, it's not much, but have a rate-up. Smiley: smile

Maybe someone could say something offensive and we could all berate them. Nothing like mutual hatred to breed togetherness.

The end of January kind of sucked ***. You go 34 years with no co-workers dying and suddenly have two in the same week? seems a bit excessive to me anyways.
