it's a magical day in future history.

It's snowing again in my neck of the woods. I was out shoveling the other night and the snowbanks were nearly as tall as me. I felt childlike moving through my shovel-tunnel. We've slacked off on roof clearing though, last nights local news featured building collapses. If some serious melting doesn't go on this weekend I suppose we'll be roof-clearing.

I think I'm going to rent Ender's Game on ppv. Is it worth five bucks?

I've already read the books, so presumably I sold out my gay brethren years ago. I really enjoyed them though.

Otherwise there is jDepp in Lone Ranger. Husband would probably prefer that.

Planning on seeing the Lego movie tonight. Probably do some housewares shopping tomorrow.

Picking up girl scout cookies today!

Then we're going to ATL to pick up a 50 lb pack of rice and eat at a noodle shop.

Otherwise, no big weekend plans.

They're working on their "Savvy Marketing" merit badge, I guess.

Seriously, my troop would set our table up outside of the PX on Fort Gordon. As a formality, we would always send our cutest Brownies to the office of the post general to get permission to do so (and permission was always granted, because cute Brownies cannot be resisted.)

We always recorded the highest sales in the entire district.

An open bar is basically the only thing that would get me to a kid's birthday party.

Worth $5.00 but don't expect too much. $5.00 isn't a lot of money though so that's not a very high bar.

According to my wife there is this show called "Breaker Bad" or something about a some German guy trying to cure cancer using magic crystals... sounds kinda weird to me.. but I think she mentioned a bomb-making turtle with a human head... so I guess it could be interesting..

Probably some DayZ Standalone if I can get the other players off WoW (anyone else play DayZ?)
..as well as me and wife continuing protecting the Shire with our new Hobbits on LotRO.
..then (maybe) catching up on some work..(I HATE CODE!!)

Good opportunity to get rid of a lot of crap. Also I recommend those giant see through plastic bins you can get at Walmart or Target. They make it easy to look for stuff without having to open boxes and dig through everything. We all swear up and down that we'll label stuff to make it easy, but that never seems to go as planned.

And grats on the new house!

Don't you like the stress, tension and lost items that moving brings with it?

I do love the fact that I'll most likely lose some weight with the stress and heavy hauling. Does that count?



We haven't had an attic ever, but we do have a garage with boxes I haven't opened since we last moved over 4 years. I'll most likely stuff them in our first attic and forget about them That said, I do love unpacking. It's like Christmas, only I already own it. I'll be happy a week from our move in, once the painters are done and I can start putting everything up. And we get some sort of roof/shade over our deck. And we convert one of the sheds into a clubhouse for the boys. Then I'll be able to shoo the kids outside without worrying (fenced yard) until dinnertime. Oh my god I can't wait for that day. I've waited for that day when I can kick them outside to play in their own yard for years

I have an upper respiratory infection which means I'm good for about three minutes of activity before I need about 20 minutes down time. There's any number of directions you can take that for a sex joke and I invite you all to think creatively. Meanwhile, I'll be wondering how on earth you can get winded from typing.

That's what cowgirl was invented for, you just lie back and enjoy the view.
