So Feinstein does not like unconstitutional spying. Who knew?

I thought it was called protecting America. Apparently CIA thought America needs to be protected from her.

It is so good it has to be fattening.

In the CIA's defense, she probably saw them microwaving popcorn and got confused.

And she tried to oversee the popcorn making.. It is no wonder CIA did not take kindly and tried to intimidate her staffers to cut it off.

After all, popcorn creation is a deed best done in the shadows.

Well, I'm convinced!

We've been trying to get rid of her for years, but like a cockroach, she just keeps lingering around. Don't have a clue what the actual truth is with regard to her current conflict with the CIA, but given how completely out of touch she is, and how blatantly she's abused her power but gotten away with it through sheer seniority and inertia, I'm inclined to just assume that whatever they did, she probably deserved.

Soemthing tells me that this will be a more important issue to Legislators than Government spying on regular folk.

I'm more concerned they got caught doing it. I expect more from our intelligence agencies.

That, and I expect a little more finesse than the virginal, pearl-clutching "We would NEVER!" defense.

Ya it seems like a weak defense when another slice of the intel community is currently playing the "Ya were collecting data...but we aren't actually looking at it" Card.

Do or do not. There is no try.

"We" = you and your weanie? Fact is, she's won 4+ elections to keep her seat for the last couple decades.

It's California. Big on talk, less so on affecting any real change.

Upon further deliberation:

They let themselves get caught as a veiled threat to the public.
Diane FEIGNstein(hehe) is in on it and this is all a ploy to make her seem innocent in the matter.
