Attending docs are getting the disease. In fact it was just reported that one has died from the disease. From an industrial hygiene pov this is disturbing: Blood borne pathogens are fairly easy to protect against.

You humans are dangerous.

One of the gals here has already started. Of course that had more to do with being over there recently and working in places where people caught it. I'll worry if she ends up with it. Though I highly doubt she has anything to worry about given the time frame. I think she knows that too, nonetheless that doesn't help with the whole weirdness factor.

I feel weak and achy today with a hint of nausea. Is it time for me to assume I have ebola or is it probably just camel flu?

It's not airborne, it requires fluid transfer. Unless people were puking their liquifying organs onto her or she regularly cuts herself on the ribcage of others as she reaches into a chest cavity, she probably shouldn't worry too much.

****** way to go by all accounts, though.

Naw, she knows I'm sure. Just the creepiness of working at a hospital, and then less than a month after you leave having people die from this there.

Betting she doesn't go back next summer. Smiley: lol

I'm not motivated enough to do anything, so I'll just wait until it gets here and kills everyone. Assuming I'm not the first to go it'll at least be semi-amusing. Beats whatever is on T.V. these days at least.

That's got to be terribly inconvenient for those on the west coast. You'd think God could have set up a Magical Negro Annex Building in Arizona or something. Maybe a Skype terminal.

I can't imagine anything even vaguely minority-orientated gaining traction in Arizona. Bring it up to Oregon and we'll a temple. Which we'll then promptly ignore because no one here is actually as tolerant as they claim to be.

Yeah, ya know, it's bad enough having to go far enough around LV to avoid contact with the evil crowd, and not die in the desert.

Virus sim games have always shown that Madagascar is the safest place to be in the event of a worldwide virus apocalypse. In fact, they probably closed their ports off the rest of the world weeks before anyone heard of this outbreak.
