This is an odd story even for Nascar. This race car driver, Kurt Busch, presumably beat his girlfriend. She filed charges of domestic abuse. His defense is that she is a dangerous assassin who's bent on destroying him.

I guess I'm of the mind that regardless of her profession he still shouldn't be beating on her.

Almost all spouses are dangerous assassins bent on destroying their significant others.

Shouldn't the title be "Assassin<Abuser". Cause he apparently successfully abused her even though she was a deadly assassin.

I guess that's for the courts to decide. Hah.

If he did, that is. I'm only basing off of this article, but it doesn't look like abuse based on stories given. She seems ******* crazy though. And so's he if he's believing her.

I thought this thread would be about Rep. Boehner's bartender who supposedly planned to assassinate the Speaker.

You know you're uninspiring when your nickname is "Bartender Mike" and you're a bartender named Mike.

"He advised that her head tapped the wall as he was doing that," Detective James Wood testified Tuesday, recounting Busch's interview with Dover police in November.
Yeah, it was just an accidental head tapping.

There was also her comments to Sniffen after the event where she simply said she hit her head and mentioned nothing of abuse. I'll admit, at the time she was still smitten with him, so she could've been defending him the way many abused people do, at first. The article really only says much from Busch's side of things, so there's a whole other side to it. She still seems crazy to me. And crazy people lie all the time. What better way to destroy someone famous than crying "abuse"?
