In a completely not political statement at all, Trump comments about how Paris wouldn't have been hit nearly as hard, or at all, if only they had more guns. Which I guess he's basing off Iraq and Afghanistan's lack of suicide bombings since, you know, they're so strict with their gun control. Ted Cruz says we should be more tolerant and accepting of civilian casualties during air strikes. Jeb the Builder believes he can fix it because he just does. Family legacy of success in fixing problems in the Middle East I guess.
On the other side, the recent Democratic debate's questions were altered to mainly focus on the attacks, which Sanders all but ignored and rehashed past talking points about the economy, while Clinton and O'Malley just kind of rambled incoherently and didn't really say anything helpful or particularly damaging to themselves. Bad form, since they had something like 24 hours to prepare. I guess as far as winners are concerned, Bernie's goal was to not talk about foreign policy at all and he succeeded. Not that it'd make any real difference in the end.
