I feel like I know what is going on with Bleach much more by listening to you all than I would be if I were actually reading it.

It's even weirder when you consider that we're making this all up and that there is no manga called Bleach.

You are all figments of my imagination.

Or I'm on my own Truman Show. Not sure which.

Hahahahahaha....

WB put Akira on hold, so now they want the guy who directed Get Smart & The Nutty Prof. II to direct a live action Bleach?

Can't wait to see their casting decisions, lulz.

Over in Fairy Tail....

Lucy summoned the entire goddamn sky and then someone absorbed all her magic. GREAT BIG POWER.....!!!!!! itty bitty living space.

THEORY: The Guild Games were set up specifically by the followers of Zeref after they detected his return when Fairy Tail vanished seven years prior. The plan: Aborb as much magic as possible to help spur his return. Hence the, "it will mature this year" comment.

Whatever they're growing needs vast quantities of magic power, and a powered up Fairy Tail is going to end up becoming its battery.

Quincy/Ginjo/****/Arrancar hybrid.

Also, if you're going to make Ichigo immune to an attack, how about showing it in action a few times first so we know what is supposed to happen instead of jumping directly to the result we already knew was going to happen?

Edit 1: I was reminded why I dislike Sasuke. What a whiny ***** ...

I completely forgot about manga today. Smiley: laugh

Is it me, or does someone get some type of amputation every arc?

It's not you.

Buckbeard... So, this has a deeper meaning or can we just assume the new king guy is called Buckbeard?

(Btw, your avatar creeps me out.)

If so, it's kind of up there in the worst villain names ever.

Don't get me wrong, it could be really good in certain situations. Like the name of a villain in One Piece. But in a manga based around psychopomps with a feudal Japanese culture, it has no place.

That said, Kubo really likes abstract words and phrases for chapter titles, so I'm just going to assume that this is meaningless.

Edit: And yes, lolgax avatar is scaryawesome. And it's not even close to Halloween! There an occasion for this one?

I made it from an image in WoW General and put it up to see what it looks like and have since forgotten to change it. Yeah, it's for next Halloween.

As far as the chapter title: I've stopped giving a buck about trying to decipher if the titles actually mean something or if it's just some words Kibo thought looked nifty together.

It's very simple. We've already fought hollows, and we've already fought shinigami hollows. Now we fight quincy shinigami hollows.

It's because Kubo has a hardon for Japanese speakers butchering European languages.

If you look a little closer at that chapter, Lucy's attack getting absorbed was blatant cheating on the part of Raven Tail; one of their members (Obra, I think his name was) noticed that Corona wouldn't be able to take that attack, so he discreetly used some sort of invisible haxmagic to absorb/negate the attack before it landed. The look on Yajima's face confirmed that it was cheating, for me.

Also, just finished the final chapter of Mahou Sensei Negima, Smiley: cry

In other news, Hunter x Hunter isn't quite over yet, and Togashi is still a god. Also Shingeki no Kyojin 31 just blew people's minds.

No Bleach this week? If that's the case, I'm a little ashamed at myself for not seeing the Law angle in One Piece. Chopped up head that continues to live? Saw Tsunade surviving the attack from a mile away, and that the Uchiha brothers would team up, but not Trafalgar? I'm also surprised that spellcheck says Trafalgar is spelled correctly, which caused me to look it up and apparently it was a naval fight in the 1800s. Then there's Hajime no Ippo's Itagaki's fight that continues to be amusing, and I actually feel bad for Saeki. He seems to be that universe's punching bag.

I've been meaning to read Hunter x Hunter, but somehow I never get around to it.

There is also a famous Trafalgar Square in London, I think.
