Trailer here.

Looks to me like a rehash of Seasons 1 and 2, but I'll probably check it out anyway.

A rehash? I dunno, I just finished watching Seasons 1-4 recently, that trailer's got me wondering a lot of things.

Oh. Hell. Yeah.

First, I'm sad that Spectre Harry is still around. I'm getting a little tired of him. Maybe that's bad of me to say, but oh well, there it is.

Second, I hope the older kids go away soon. Aster seems pissed at Dex, but they don't show much about how Cody is handling it. Maybe they'll run off and live with their grandparents or something. That'd be kinda nice.

Third, this looks ******* awesome.

I'm glad that Michael C. Hall is doing well. You really can't even tell he was sick. It makes me both sad and a little ill that he's married to Jennifer Carpenter. Sad because he's so freaking yummy. Definitely on my list, he's so hot. A little ill because I can't make her anything other than his sister in my head.

September can't get here fast enough. Smiley: drool2

I think it's a clever way for Dexter's "conscience" to voice it's opinion. It's a little odd, but I haven't found him annoying, yet.

Could just be the way I interpreted the different seasons, but it seems like Dexter learned a crucial part about living a "normal" life in each season. I'm interested in seeing how he handles everything, or if the kids do, indeed, just get dumped on the grandparents.

Yes, very yes.

Yeah, it'll be very interesting, but I like to see Dexter kill people. With the kids, he sorta got away from that. Made me sad.

Did I mention that Michael C. Hall is gorgeous...?

But it made the moments when he got his victims on the table that much more satisfying.

Or something.

Also, I wonder if he'll kill people with the new baby in a car seat in the room. That would be kind of awesome.

I am so so SO close to b eing caught up. Just watched the second to last episode of season 4, and if there were any more of a cliffhanger, you'd think the world was flat, and Dexter and Trinity just sailed to the freaking edge! CAN. NOT. WAIT!

Yeah, that was my reaction as well. Last episodewas, how Deb Morgan elegantly put this, "earth shattering, ball crushing mind ****".

Just be happy you have half year shorter wait for season 5 than us. It is painful.

Super excited to see this air. The first four seasons had me hooked all 12 episodes, hell, I even went as far to read the books afterwards.

Though, I must say, in this scenario, the Television series is far superior.

Meh. Much like True Blood, Dexter is actually a better show than book.

Guess he's going to remain a Dad of 3 while dealing with the fallout/investigating of Rita's death going on while he continues being a serial killer.

Kewl.

Waiting for season 5 to start = WAAAAY TOO PAINFUL. And seeing Dexter lose it toward the end of that trailer gives me chills. He's always so composed...

This.

But, on the other hand, his wound is fresher. BT and I just started rewatching seasons 1-4 in anticipation of season 5 and it makes it a lot sadder, all the early stuff Rita went through. Anyway, yeah, holy ******* **** is exactly the correct and normal response.

The gf and I just started watching Dexter this week. 2 episodes in, so far so good. Also, I never actually realized that commercial was Dexter.
