Wow, I really didn't suspect that a Batman animated movie could be so well done. After seeing this movie I would rate it one of the best Batman movies of all time; only being out done by The Dark Knight. The voice acting was great, the fight scenes were spectacular and if you're a Batman fan like I am the story is just awesome.

Seriously, go check this out.

I'm sure the movie is good, but the title makes me think someone made a gay **** with Batman and Robin.

I was thinking more of Batman raping Little Red Riding Hood...

So what is it, the Joker's origin story?

Nope.

That is exactly what I thought when I first saw the title and box art though.

It's about Jason Todd, the second Robin, coming back from the grave.

Wait, didn't he come back as one of the Black Lanterns?

No but a **** load of others did. It was like a retcon with an awesome story. Jason Todd came back because of Infinite Crisis due to Superboy.

Yeah, but you always think about that.

That was pretty good. It was certainly one of the better Jokers I've seen, but not enough Neil Patrick Harris.

You can never have too much NPH.

Ngh, the thing I hate about comics is that it never ******* ends. Even if the main boss dies in one issue, ten years later they retcon it with an alternate universe or clone excuse.

A lot of stuff happens in each comic, but nothing ever changes. Batman dies, but it turns out to be in an alternate universe. Then he dies again and it turns out he was cloned. Then he dies again and returns as Cyberbat, now with more hydraulics and less human tissue. Cyberbat eventually travels back in time and accidentally sleeps with his own grandmother, meaning he is his own grandfather. Except, this all happened in a second alternate universe and eventually the entire *********** of a story arc is reset when Cyberbat, in some way or another, causes his universe to collapse, returning the viewer to the main universe. Where Batman wakes up and realizes he just dreamed it all.

Really, can't they just end a storyline and be done with it?

I didn't like Di Maggio's Joker, but then I feel quite spoiled by Mark Hamill's work in the 90s. Bruce Greenwood did an okay Batman overall. Also, I expected Nightwing to break out in song half the time. I did like the Adam West era Batcave Exit tribute, as subtle as it was. I've never really read Batman comics (Though I have been meaning to), but Black Mask seems like a rip off of Red Skull, except not really evil.

Not a bad movie overall, for those of us with limited knowledge of the Batman mythos.

I thought Di Maggio's was more in the vein of Heath Ledger's Joker, while Hamill's was closer to Jack Nicholson's.
