It's still, technically, an ongoing manga (there just hasn't been a new chapter in 4+ months) & it's early parts were already adapted into anime series (enable pop up blocker before clicking on the episode links!), but today marks the release of the first part in the Berserk Movie trilogy with the Japanese release of Berserk: Egg of the Supreme Ruler.
While I know the story, I'm pretty excited as the animation looks gorgeous. The first part looks like it'll at least get to Guts first meeting with Nosferatu Zod.
I have no earthly clue when/if it will be released in the US & have found no other net savvy ways to view it as of yet.

I started to watch it, then I just gave up. Is there a link with Berserk?
I'll definitely look for that trilogy, great anime if only way too short.

2nd movie is fansubbed online at Movie2k. The blend of 2d & CGI is blended much better than in the 1st one. Story wise, the first one is probably better, but that has more to do with the section of story the 2nd one hits; Guts vs 100 soldiers (I felt this was a bit brief, especially considering how much it seemed to stretch out the love scene later on), the Siege of Doldrey, Guts leaving the Hawks, & the beginning of Griffiths downfall.
While there's a couple of cameos, it doesn't appear this trilogy is going to get to any of the post Hawks Guts stuff. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as I always felt the Golden Age Arc was one of Berserk's strongest.
