I've just discovered (and read) the first two books of American Vampire. Amazon delivered TWD Bk9 and Revival Bk2 today (I think Revival is brilliant) and I'm waiting on the latest edition of Chew.

What are you reading (or would recommend)?

Last comic I read was the Preacher series and it was fantastic. When I have enough money and time on my hands I'll either try Swamp Thing or Sandman. Watchmen is also highly recommendable.

Uhh, what was the last thing I read? It's been a while.

It was either the first of the Dragon Age graphic novels (and I keep meaning to order the other two), or Volume 1 (1-12) of Ultimate X-Men.

I'm gonna read the Archie undead series - and am kind of excited about that. It's getting good reviews. I;ve put off buying it electronically however. I want the comic books, but i don't have a comic book store near me.

My pull list is Daredevil, Scarlet Spider, and Hawkeye. I might pick other books based on what I read that week and enjoy, but those three have been ceftain purchases so far. Kinda pissed Scarlet is ending.

I'm way behind on the Dark Tower comics. I really enjoyed the ones that Jae Lee did the art for.

[EDIT]

I keep meaning to read Hawkeye, but I haven't. Heard nothing but good things about it, though. I've been thinking about starting to read some Captain America...

Hawkguy has been pretty exceptional in a weird way. It isn't Avengers level of crazy super hero story. I mean the main villain is a bunch of ... I want to say Romanians in tracksuits who say bro every four words. There is also Pizza Dog.

Cap A's current book is average at best, and if you're looking to start from the beginning you're looking at something like 600+ issues, and you're most absolutely better off skipping most of the 90s. I'd suggest Brubaker's run if anything, though. That's where Winter Soldier was introduced, but even then its a pretty good read without needing to know too much Cap History and/or trivia. I mean you certainly can do the whole thing, but get ready for several whiny I Quit rants and my favorite, MECHA CAPTAIN AMERICA.
