Season 2 just ended this past weekend. The series as a whole has had a lot of ups and downs for being interesting. Seems to dip a bit during the middle of each season. Both seasons ended on a very similar cliff hanger Cannon about to fire. First was on Da Vinci, this time, the target is his mother.

So far I think it's been worth watching. For a Starz series, it is definitely light on the nudity (relatively speaking, that is).

Now that this season is over, I think I'm going to take a look at Penny Dreadful (Showtime). My cable provider just got the Showtime Anytime agreement, so I can watch everything I want on the Showtime app or website.

I thought it was a great season finale. Definitely pissed me off, so that means it was good, lol. The series isn't non-stop action, but that's ok. I like some story line mixed in with my crazy inventors.

I saw the first episode of Penny Dreadful and liked it, but now I need to watch the rest of them. My husband isn't a fan of horror, so I need to find time to watch them when he's not around. And now that he's no longer working, I don't know when that'll be.

I finished watching the four episodes available. I'm not caring for the Dorian Gray parts of the story so far, but Victor Frankenstein's has been enjoyable so far. When Frankenstein is showing his creation, Proteus, around the town and everything is going pretty well, I was thinking "What is going to trigger this man to go crazy? Is he going to hunt down his wife, who will then reject him as a monster?" Then BOOM turns out Proteus wasn't the monster we all knew, there was an original, abandoned, and jaded creation (who shoves his arms through Proteus and rips him in half). That scene caught me by surprise.

Oh, and you get to see some Rose Tyler boobies (not that great...)

The Showtime app is good. When i forst got it they didnt have Weeds on there, and i was dissapointed. But they recently added weeds and ive been watching that a lot. There is also Dexter and Califorication both are good. Also have HBO go as well lots of great series on there. Band of Brothers, Sopranos, The Wire, and Oz just to name a few. Havent seen Penny Dreadful yet but have heard some decent things about it.

Edit: PS in Californication you get to see Madeline Zima's boobs they are great

I watched the second episode of Penny Dreadful today. Yeah, that scene with the original creation really threw me off. And made me a little sad, too.
