Got two of these on the first day on the hagbuis at the house in Vanern Swamp on MLF server. Some other interesting stuff dropped there too but not even close to this one. The mobs there con blue and yellow, mixed in a few orange wandering runemasters too.

I found this ring today off an Yleg (hagbuis named ghoul) on the bridge in Spindelhalla. I've been camping that spot for days with various groups and this is the first ring of this kind I've seen so far. Many axes, swords, bracers, rings, and what have you have been harvested so I would agree with it being a rare drop based on that alone.

This ring will drop from the hagbuis in Spindelhalla, but given the rarity of the drop and the few numbers of hagbui in Spindel - it is understandable extremely rare to get it there.
From many accounts it will drop off the Hagbui around the house in the NW corner of Vanern (the easier ones, not the zerkers and thanes). Again this is a rare drop and many people have camped for hours with no luck. I have heard reports that it only drops from Hagbui Retainers (which makes sense), but even these seem to be rare.

I got mine off of a nasty in the bridge room of Spin. Not sure what dropped it though.

I have the jewel of Vanern Swamp.. it dropped in Spindelhalla for me..at 30 off of Scav's

First off, I've never heard of this from Spindelhalla so I think that is a misdirection on the part of the submitting person.
It drops from the hags in Vanern Swamp, not sure which ones because you just kill them all, and its pretty rare, though you might see one per day if you were there all day long.
And yes, I have one, as do others I know.

This seems to be an uber rare drop, on par with the Jewel of Vanern Swamp, which i dotn think i have seen documented here yet
