I probably got lucky, because I only had to kill 2-3 phantom wickermen before they dropped phantom ******* sword :)
Dropped it at wickermen spot where White somenights repops.

I've camped them 4 times now, theres only 3 spawns per night, starting around midnight.. and I've never seen Withe, never looted a rare drop either.

3 separate tries, but 8 hours in total. Once I stayed for a few days, the other two times I showed up at 10p.m. game time.

Without a good measure of luck you have a better chance of getting into a good group and out leveling the need for a pestilence sickle OR a phantom ******* sword, and then just simply do a mid 30s quest instead.

I camped a named at that location for 12 hours real time. And killed more than 30 Phantom wickermen . Not even one sword, may be its drop some place else.

The ones I know about are located along the river past Druim Ligen. This is where Withe spawns and at 29 you can get the Pestilent Sickle from him. They are blue at 32 but cast a poison DoT and disease. Nasty lil buggers. Only spawn at nite.
