It is the reward from the druid epic quest:
Very useful shield, there are, however, some contradictions as to the location of the druids:
The journal mentions, finding the armband from a druid behind the meruchas( bog).
You must go past caille in the valley of bri,(on the way to the frontier) then take a left until you see a very tall hill, the named one is on top.
Do be careful of wandering siardras and of course , druids.
Make sure to have your instant heal ready and loaded.. : )

When people post new items they almost always include where/what mob/quests they did to get the item. For whatever reason, this info is almost never posted by the person that enters the info on this site. I have no idea why, but everypost looks the same as a result.

For real! I gave very specific info on all the items I submitted yet the Allakhazam guy just didn't bother to put it in. This creates alot of unnecessary postings that could have been prevented if the Allakhazam guy would have entered in all the information that I provided him.
You're not the only one... I don't know how many screenshots, monster reports, etc. I've sent in and had zero response or posts of them.
I know since May when I started here I have been replying to atleast 98% of my e-mails, the 2% I do not are the one's that just have loc's or one sentence messages for a quick fix(which are entered and posted), shots for the day (they will get posted just in the order they are received) or ask for silly things like giving someone an item in game.
I may be a day or two late on replying sometimes (darn RL!) but I will reply, what do you think I do while raising my crafting skills LOL. If you send e-mail directly to me (maia@allakhazam.com) it will be handled by me and responded to by me unless it falls in the 2% catagory.
I send out a lot of thank you replies because I do appreciate stuff sent in and I want to let folks know that I do. Now what happened before I came on board I can not speak on, but I can state what I do. I'm sure there are quite a few folks who can confirm that I do infact respond to e-mails sent to my in-box, just might take a day or three but it will be reponded too, but the post will happen first before the reply is sent.

It's the level 30 quest reward from the 'epic' quest.

With stats like this it has to be the reward from part of the epic quest ... I would guess that it is the level 30 or 35 portion.
