Found one off lode protectors in about 5 lvls in pit.
These also have dropped off Phantom Miners.

What's the going rate for purchasing this weapon? I was told (by someone who wanted to sell me one) that the going rate was 800g-1p. Does this sound about right?
I speant many many hours down in the pit and have never seen one of these drop, is it worth spend 900g on it?

I have seen 3 drop in 2 days from abysmals alone so dont let anyone say they dont drop from abysmals. They do drop from weeweres but abysmals on my server seem to drop them more. I got the 2 hand crystal last night from abysmals

I f you go behind the abyss via Wee 2 they seem to drop the most there. I spent at least 4 lvls there and onlt saw 1 other drop at the lodes. I saw 5 drop behind the abyss.Really slow but puts out the damage. Warick 45 Champ Lancelot

Its yellow to 47 but i havent seen the proc already

particle effects can be seen by all.. it only works while in combat. Just make sure you have /effects all turned on to see other peoples effects

These are just so awesome looking. Would anyone happen to know about the similar red glowing ones? What their actual name is? And what's up with this one being uncommon while gem claw sword is rare? Ive seen near 10 of the gem drops in a week... and yet to see one of these :(

i have spent almost 3 weeks in the mine every day hunting wee1 wee2 abysmals, and lodes. i hav eonly seen it drop once. i have however seen the great spear ans the rapier drop,t hose are th only 3 shadow crystal drops i have seen, it seems to me that you can go a while hunting down there without seeing a drop, but it could just be me :) the sword looks awsome has blue lighnig and all that jazz, if you want to see the proc on the swrd try typing /effects all , i was not able to see procs on any weapons until i did that. there is 2 handed verions too, it is very good looking :)

This sword seems pretty common. I have looted it twice now... It is found in the CM pit, where the wolfs and weeweres are. That is where I have found them. The mummies and weewere rooms do not loot them...asfar as I know

It seems that piercing weapons are better (just humor me) for rangers, but the piercing weapons available of any worth are few and far between indeed!
What gives. blade wielders start getting quest and 1 time drops for GOOD weapons in their 20s.. I know of THREE good piercers..PERIOD.. in the WHOLE GAME..

Spell effects are visible to everyone, including procs. The particle effects on the weapon itself, however, are visible to the holder of the weapon only. Shame, but oh well.

Looks like blue lightning to me. Too bad only the user can see the sword spell effect. I wanted to strike fear into our enemies hearts.

This is one of the swords new special effects will be added to with version 1.42...
