i got mine in a grp at grove nymphs with my scout. it was the ones between the slave masters and the tomb raiders. got it on 1st pull. it was a great sword.

I picked one up off of an ogre in camp. forest west of caer ulfwych(sp?). What does it mean that it has a skill reqirement of 5 trains?

Means you have to have 5 train points put into the type of weapon it is, which is slash in this case.

Those golems seem to drop plenty of good stuff, I got 2 glowing balls of mud and a nice lvl18-19 crossbow. But the drops seem rare, I've spent my whole level 21 on them and they didnt give more.
They are in a quite safe place and are nifty mobs to finish quietly your levels.

I am level 21. The Golems are green to me. Can I get the sword off them anyway?

I've been fighting these golems for a few months now, and its the only time I've come across one of these swords. I'm not sure if they will drop off anything else... but my Minstrel is sure enjoying it in the meantime :)

I was there for about 3 lvls as a theurgist soloing them and all i got was the spear tips taht sold for 7 - 8 silver :) they may have just added it though

These swords must be exceedingly rare. I went to the Marsh with a small party (2 paladins, 16th and 15th, and a sorcerer, 14th), and we slew *scores* of mud golems -- but not a single golden inlaid sword was dropped.
BTW: At 16th level, these golems con blue and yellow to me.
