Spoke with the guard, turned around and their was throatripper. Took him down with my lvl 5 paladin (solo). Now off to look for a large skeleton.

In order to get Throat Ripper to come out and play, just keep killing every black wolf in the valley. He eventually spawns and attacks you.

I found Throatripper right away. go to the far end of the valley where the hillside leads back up...near the poacher camp. He showed just as the sun went down and was green to a fresh L7. Easy kill.
the hardest part of this quest is avoiding the dwarf raiders in the area if you're not capable of fighting them off.

There is not exact location, though he is around Lt. Jursen, in that valley with all the dwarves. I ran around for an hour or so killing every single black wolf I saw, then he came. So, that's the best advice I can give, kill everything.

oooowwwwww i ran all over that forest and hillside during day & dusk and never found it. all i saw was those black wolfs and skulls. AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!

He cons blue at level 6. No prob for solo smite cleric.

We took him down with 2 Friars and a Theo, at level 5 bit of a fight but not really worth it

Throatripper can be EASILY taken down by a lvl 7 Scout. I did it. Just a few shots at max range and I ripped his throat out with my arrow

I got Throat ripper not long after dusk fell. my scout friend and I plugged him with 3 shots and he dropped fast like. I think its only +3 AF and +9 HP not to hard of a quest for a pair of level 7s. Mostly walking.
