04.06.05 Per Patch 1.75:
- Animare il morti - Centurion Favius can now be found next to the Fallen Tower in Salisbury Plains.

Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

This is a continuation of the Sorceror Epic Quest. At level 25 go see Master Vismer in the Academy at Camelot. He will tell you of the continued pursuit to control the raising of the undead. He will give you some spell components and ask you to go kill a Roman Guard in Salisbury Plains name Favius.

Favius can be found next to the Fallen Tower in Salisbury Plains.

After you kill him, you need to go back to the circle of summoning, just north of the tower sitting Southwest of Salisbury Plains. Make sure the summoning spell components are in your inventory. speak the words of power again. The phrase is "abeo decido animus exspecto terra." Appears to work only at night.

Once done, a roman burning knight appears, and you are told to go back to Vismer.
Lot of horse riding, but real easy quest.

Ok I am doing the quest and it says to return to the summoning circle West of Fauvius in the Salisbury Plains. I have covered every inch of that map and have found no circle, anyone know ?

Just found the "Summoning Circle" .... it is just north of the tower sitting Southwest [bottom] of Salisbury Plains.

The reward for the Minstrels performing this quest is a Hauberk of Comfort, another piece of chain armor. Not a bad piece, for the level; I, personally, had Banded Coral from a guildmate so it took a trip to my vault--

But a minstrel performing this quest at the level it's assigned will get some good use out of it. Now if I had only taken a SS. Oh well.

as far as i can tell, minstrels get some leggings of comfort from this quest...

The minstrils do get this as their 25th level epic quest as well.
Was VERY easy for a level 25 (far easier than 20 with all the running i had to do).

Did this quest as soon as I got it at 25 for my Sorcerer. Favius was right where he was supposed to be and no adds occured.

I did the summoning during the day and it worked fine. So doesn't seem to be dependant on time of day.

At completion of the quest I got 2,600,800 exp points which was just under 1/2 of a bubble. Plus the cloak.

I really enjoyed this quest.

Poor Poor Favius, I dont think he even expected his death to be so sudden or firery.

one shot, and there was no remains.
hit him for 427 with a 392 crit and he was no more!

The wizards use the same quest. The reward is a Flame Threaded Cloak with the following stats

Flame Threaded Cloak
Usable By:
- Wizard

Magical Bonuses
- Fire Magic: 1 pts
- Power: 2 pts
- Dexterity: 6 pts
