Dialog from the quest:

1) Speak with Akorala at loc=26235,25903,16015 dir=293 in Burial Grounds.

Akorala says, "Greetings, Thane. This ship is magnificent isn't it? I have devoted my time to studying it trying to unearth the clues of its past. Recently, I have uncovered some interesting [pieces] of information."

Akorala says, "It appears that this ship is a massive burial ship used by the inhabitants of Jordheim of old. This ship carried the original inhabitants of Jordheim to Midgard, one of them being Weilder Jord. He was the [founder] of Jordheim."

Akorala says, "Weilder Jord was a very wise leader, and his people held him in the utmost respect. That is why this ship was taken apart piece by piece and brought into these dark Burial Grounds. Upon his passing, the residents of Jordheim [buried] him in the ship."

Akorala says, "It was a symbol of deep respect to be laid to rest inside the massive ship. That is why, as time wore on, each of the crewmen were placed inside after they passed on. Eventually the ship was filled with the founder and the most respected citizens of Jordheim. It was to be their final [place] of rest before traveling into Valhalla."

Akorala says, "That has not proven to be so though, as you can see by the activities in the Burial Grounds. The souls of the ship are not at peace and have been stirred into a rage. I think I have made a most profound discovery that can aid us in setting these souls at peace once more, though I [need] your help."

Akorala says, "I must caution you; this could be a dangerous duty that could involve battle. I think I have discovered the final resting place of Weilder Jord. I would like someone to travel into his burial alcove and try to establish contact with him. Would you be willing to [partake] in this duty?"

Will you travel into the Call of Valhalla to try to find Weilder Jord? [Level 16]
You have been given the Words of the Founder quest.

Akorala says, "Thank you, Thane. This mission could prove to be important in dealing with the uprisings here in the Burial Grounds. I have made a map that leads to the resting place of Weilder Jord, though getting to him will not be an easy [feat]."

[Step #1] Speak with Akorala about the Call of Valhalla. Talk to her about the [feat] she requires you to attempt.

Akorala says, "Through my studies I have learned that, because he is the founder, his spirit is heavily guarded by some force or forces. You must defeat these forces in order to establish contact with him. It is a challenge I suppose, and only those who can defeat the challenge are worthy to [speak] with him."

Akorala says, "Once you defeat whatever force or forces are guarding him, see if you can find meaning behind the restless spirits in the Burial Grounds and the ship. Ask him if he can guide us in finding the meaning to this cause of unrest. You will need to search the Call of Valhalla for Weilder Jord. Use this map to help navigate the ship. May the Gods bless you on this mission, Thane. I will await your return."

You receive Akorala's Map from Akorala!

[Step #2] Travel to the Call of Valhalla to find Weilder Jord's burial chamber. /USE the map to find this area. (To use an item right click on the item and type /use. Be wary of the forces Akorala mentioned. Try to establish contact.

There is a ramp inside the room past the doorway. The arrow points up the ramp, and then continues to the point past each ramp to the very top of the ship to a burial room."

The loc for this is: loc=23739,18434,19457 dir=8 Burial Grounds. When you get there you will find 2 spirits, the Maiden of the Storm and the Maiden of the Spirit. Right click on one of them to progress the quest.

  • Maiden of the Storm says, "Greetings, Thane. Those who seek the presence of our Master Jord must best us in battle. Attempt this feat id you so wish."

[Step #3] Defeat the Maiden of the Storm to try to find Weilder Jord.
[Step #3 con't] Defeat the Maiden of the Spirit to try to find Weilder Jord.

I see men pillaging and looting... there is a figure shrouded in darkness... causing strife and turmoil... I see war and battles being waged... our resting place is being desecrated... I see a central figure controlling this chaos... Put an end to these things and the disturbance will cease... I have spoken, Thane. I must rest again."

[Step #5] Return to Akorala with the information Weilder Jord supplied.

Akorala says, "You returned safely, Thane. Tell me you must, what was revealed to you?"

    /whisper dark central figure

Akorala says, "That is vague, but he must be referencing the Darkwood Bandit Norer or Hian. Both are leaders, and both cause many problems throughout lower Midgard. I will note this information and deliver it to the forces at once. This will help us in eliminating the unrest and [strife] here in the Burial Grounds."

[Step #5 con't] Continue speaking with Akorala to receive your reward.
