Dialog from quest:
Speak with Guard Rauveyl at loc=22133,11552,17108 dir=14 Roman Aqueducts.

Guard Rauveyl says, "Well met, Briton. Welcome to the Aqueducts. You will find the Aqueducts and lower Albion to be quite unwelcoming towards your [kind] and the dwellers of upper Albion."

Guard Rauveyl says, "I have been watching the activities of lower Albion closely, particularly that of the Aqueducts. A certain sect of people who dwell in the Aqueducts that we call the plutonians have aroused my [suspicion] ."

Guard Rauveyl says, "We have some knowledge of these plutonians through the studies of our scholars; however, the plutonians have remained elusive up until very recently. This new behavior has piqued my [curiosity] ."

Guard Rauveyl says, "I suppose that in order to make you understand the plutonians I should explain their history, as we know it. It all starts very long ago, in the times of old. The Romans had moved into Albion to what is currently Camelot. They defeated the Arawnites to secure that part of [Albion] ."

Guard Rauveyl says, "With the Romans, the plutonians moved into Albion. These plutonians were worshippers of Pluto and they resided in Albion worshipping their God. Eventually, the time came for the Romans to move on to other lands to conquer, but the plutonians chose to [stay] in Albion."

Guard Rauveyl says, "Whatever the reasoning for staying behind, be it the nice new land and the freedom to have their society dedicated to the worship of Pluto, or other reasons we may never understand, their freedom and land was taken away with the coming of the [Britons] to Albion."

Guard Rauveyl says, "The Britons moved into Albion but the two cultures could never coexist. The Britons began persecuting the Plutonians, eventually forcing the Plutonians to flee into the Aqueducts [built] by their Roman kinsmen."

Guard Rauveyl says, "They have remained in those Aqueducts since then, with no contact with upper Albion. Despite this lack of contact, it seems that the Plutonians never forgot their persecution by the Albion peoples. Many, many years have passed, and all that they have for your kind is intense [hate] ."

Guard Rauveyl says, "Our Inconnu Forces have heard this in their chanting, which echoes throughout the Aqueducts. The Plutonians have flourished in the Aqueducts. It is really quite impressive, as they have gone so far as to erect a temple [devoted] to Pluto in the Aqueducts."

Guard Rauveyl says, "For a short time we did not pay much attention to the Plutonians. This is no longer the case though. As I told you, I have seen them more frequently, wandering the corridors in the Aqueducts. Recently, there have been reports of a High Plutonian Scribe [traversing] the corridors with an entourage of Plutonians."

Guard Rauveyl says, "This is quite unusual behavior as one of such a high status would usually never stray far from the temple. It is my suspicion that they are up to something. It is going to be up to you to help to find out what that is. Are you willing to [ discover] the motives of the High Plutonian Scribe, Briton?"

Will you try to obtain information about the High Plutonoan Scribe? [Level 8]
You have been given the Plutonian Plans quest.

[Step #1] Speak with Guard Rauveyl about the plutonians.

Guard Rauveyl says, "Thank you, Briton. This could not only be a problem for the Inconnu Forces but also for upper Albion. My instincts tell me that this is a more serious [problem] for upper Albion."

Guard Rauveyl says, "You will need to travel down into the Aqueducts to try to gain information from the High Plutonian Scribe. This will mean that you will need to slay the Plutonian High Scribe. I have reports from my guards that he has made [routine] trips from the lower gate in the eastern tunnel at the intersection. They say he roams to the east and then to the south."

Guard Rauveyl says, "He was seen making these trips with a following of plutonian guards. Whatever he has or wherever they have been going relates to something of [importance] ."

Guard Rauveyl says, "If you obtain any information of any significance please deliver it to Guard Eraedus in Camelot. He has been [ working] with our forces in regards to the happenings of the Aqueducts."

Guard Rauveyl says, "Take your leave now and do your best to try to obtain any information that you can. May Arawn see to your safe passage in this mission."

[Step #2] Slay the High Plutonian Scribe in the Aqueducts. Go west of Rauveyl, then south, and east at the intersection. He was seen emerging from the last lower gate on the left. He goes east and south with his guards and makes a stop.
  • High Plutonian Scribe was found at loc=24028,18402,16434 dir=101Roman Aqueducts, he did not have any guards around him.

  • [Step #3] Seek out Guard Eraedus in Camelot.
  • Guard Eraedus is at loc=24672,16271,8447 dir=212 City of Camelot.

  • Guard Eraedus says, "Hail, Friar. May I assist ye with anything this night?"

[Step #3] Give Guard Eraedus the Plutonian Scribe Tablet.

Guard Eraedus says, "Thank you for delivering this tablet to us. This is of utmost importance, and I must deliver it to my superiors right away. Please take this money and medallion as a show of our deepest [gratitude] ."

[Step #3] Continue speaking with Guard Eraedus to receive your reward. If he stops speaking with you tell him to show his [gratitude] and reward you.

Guard Eraedus takes the Plutonian Scribe's Tablet and studies it carefully.

Guard Eraedus says, "You should not wander too far, Briton. Albion may need your help in a few seasons if this tablet reveals certain information. I hope for the sake of our people it does not. May the light of Camelot shine upon you."
