Ok, couple things. I got my ring within 2 hours.
I took a scientific method to it to see if I could figure it out a little. First, I came up and it was a cluricaun on the rock. Killed it. So I sat and watched the rock. I believe I killed one nearby clur. 45-1hour later a cluricaun popped on the rock. Killed it. So then I killed cluricauns as I saw them. One by the field, one watchin the rock. 30 min later, cluricaun on the rock. So then I went around the whole area in circles killing the cluricauns. Bingo, 12 minutes Bran. Then I read a post in the ring's forum that a guy heard if a cluricaun pops at midnight, bran will pop at 8am gametime. This is ALSO true in my case. He popped around 8am, and I believe one of my pops was at midnight. What I believe is happening is that you just have to keep the cluricauns AROUND the whole area. Not too big but just run around. And keep them cleared. At those times they will pop on the rock. If not, just keep the area cleared.
nope

I did it last night and I was 25. I would log in.. kill all cluricauns around the rock and/or on rock and then log onto another character. Came back every 12-24 game hours. Found him on 4th check.
Wrong Information

Several other sites state that this is a level 26 encounter. After several wasted hours, I'm inclined to agree.

I was just wandering around, exploring and just stumbled upon Brannigan. Kinda lucky, but I'm not complaining
Get Brannigan

How to get there:

- Get a horse to Innis Carthaig (from Howth or Connla)
- Jump at Ceannai (The trading post at the borderline Shannon Estuary/Lough Gur)
- Head southeast in direction of the woods.
- When you entered Lough Gur, search for the Location 56K, 17K. That is in the northeastern part of Lough Gur, in the woods. There is a set of stones, pretty easy to see, especially since they are glowing in the dark.

What to do:

- The set of stones is surrounded by a circle of trees.
- Inside this circle and on the stone cluricauns will spawn.
- The spawn time of the little green fellows can differ but there will only be one cluricaun up in that circle.
- That is why you want to kill them as soon as they pop.
- Brannigan will pop right on the stone. (Yellow to 27)
- I do not think killing everything around helps to increase the spawn rate, but I was bored and looking for a change. ;)
- I camped him for 8 hours straight on my first try without seeing him. The second try lasted for 3 hours until I got him.
- I am sure he is on a real life time spawn circle, but you want to make sure he can pop by killing the cluricauns in the tree circle around the stone.

Good Luck and say good bye to your Cluricaun faction :)
What location?

Doesn't anyone know how to use /loc?
RE: What location?
# Jun 12 2002 at 11:18 AM Rating: Good
when typing /loc, you get three numbers. Every Zone has it's own set of coordinates.

the first number is the east-west direction,
the second number the north-south direction,
the third tells you how high you are (you almost never need this one, only exception are multi level dungeons).

Hope that helps
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 12 2002 at 2:34 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) HAHA they meant, doesn't anyone know how to use it and list the loc here. They want the loc of the mob, not directions on how to use the /loc command. LOL

Well, then you find the glowing stone where he is supposed to pop at 56.000, 17.000 in Lough Gur.

how long you wait.
# Apr 14 2002 at 8:23 AM Rating: Default
just gotta be lucky. I was told to expect at least 2 hour wait. If you kill all the cluricans near his rock, and stay back from rock, he seems to spawn faster. I did that, and it only took me 15 minutes. This french guy is saying it took him 10 hours. No way I'd wait that long for anything.
