Thesill is located in Jordheim at location 24087, 27243

Thesill says, "Greetings, Frostalf. I am Thesill of Jordheim. What is your name, young one?"

You say, "(Your Name)"

Thesill says, "We are well met. I am one of the elders of Jordheim, and one of the few elders remaining who have not passed into Valhalla. We have had many great people from Jordheim pass into the realm of spirits. One of those was my third great grandfather, [Captain Yggdren]."

Thesill says, "He was a brave man, yes he was. He was the Captain of the Call of Valhalla, the boat which carried our ancestors to Midgard. This is also the ship where the people of old buried Weilder Jord, the village founder, and each crew member from the original landing on [Midgard]."

Thesill says, "The Call of Valhalla resides in the Burial Grounds located under Jordheim. Relder Autansonn was the first of our people to make the discovery of the Burial Grounds. He realized the potential in this area and so they started using this area to bury their dead. The people of old eventually filled the Burial Grounds, and so they sealed the entrance and built a small building over it to prevent [grave] robbers from getting in."

Thesill says, "It was from that building that Jordheim came to be. After the first small building was placed over the sealed entrance, another was placed. Eventually another was placed, and another until we had the great city of Jordheim. The Burial Grounds were long [forgotten] until now."

Thesill says, "Unbeknownst to our ancestors, they weren't the first people who had discovered or set foot in the Burial Grounds, or in that part of the land for that matter. From what I have been told by residents of lower Midgard, the Kobolds had originally discovered the Burial Grounds. To speak the truth, subterranean Midgard was actually discovered by a young chap named Skolmir. Upon fleeing their land of Aegir in times of old, the Kobolds landed in Midgard and Skolmir discovered what we called the Burial Grounds and their [Undercity]."

Thesill says, "The Kobolds were seeking suitable shelter after landing in Midgard. Skolmir found a cave in a terrible snowstorm, after one of his fruitless searches, and he went inside to seek cover. Upon entering the cave he found a tunnel in the earth. Upon passing through the tunnel and a series of smaller caves he came to an expansive cavern which would later become the Undercity. He was overjoyed with his find, and when the storm let up he traveled back to tell his [people]."

Thesill says, "Hallavor, their leader, was pleased with this find. Skolmir led him and the Kobolds below ground for the duration of the winter and they began to make plans to build their city above this [cavern]."

Thesill says, "This never happened as the Kobolds eventually happened across our people. Although these people of strange skin and strange speech were not aggressive, Hallavor ordered new tunnels to be dug to the surface away from their cavern. As soon as these tunnels were built and hidden, he ordered the entrance leading to the main cavern to be sealed, and ordered the Kobolds to venture to the surface only in a time of great [need] for their people."

Thesill says, "Well, now is that time of need, and they have reemerged from their earthen dwelling. They came seeking assistance in the battle raging against the evil army in the Frontlines. With their reemergence, the [entrance] to the Burial Grounds was unsealed."

Thesill says, "Naturally, as an elder of Jordheim, I have come to know the residents of the Undercity and they have come to know me. With this new friendship has come information, and I have learned disturbing [information] indeed."

Thesill says, "Reports from the forces of the Undercity say that the souls who were laid to rest in the Burial Grounds are now at unrest, angered by those who enter their dwelling. These spirits are launching attacks on innocent people as well as the bandits who have moved into the Burial Grounds to pillage the final resting places of our [ancestors]."

Thesill says, "Guard Ubra has been keeping track of the goings on in the Burial Grounds, and she sent word to me that there have been sightings of my third great grandfather. She also sent news of a Darkwood Bandit Captain on the ship. I'm now convinced that Yggdren's soul is at unrest. Would you [aid] me in setting his soul at peace?"

You have been given the Spirits at Unrest quest. [Level 12]

Thesill says, "Thank ye, Frostalf. You're providing an honorable service to a tired Dwarf who is much too old to attempt such a [feat]."

Thesill says, "I have heard stories passed down in the generations about my third great grandfather, Captain Yggdren. It is said he was a brave man, and was mighty protective of his ship and any who traveled on his ship. It would be natural for him to remain protective of this now sacred ship even in the spirit [world]."

Thesill says, "Well, I think these bandits and their Bandit Captain have discovered the Call of Valhalla and have been pillaging it. I believe the reports that Yggdren is walking his ship again are true, and I believe that he is mighty angered at such trespassers [disturbing] him."

Thesill says, "It is your job, young Huntress, to go slay this Bandit Captain causing this unrest so that Yggdren's spirit can rest once more. Now, don't be fooled. Unless he recognizes them or they are of the spirit world, Captain Yggdren will consider anyone who trespasses upon his boat to be an enemy. I will give you his cloak which he wore as Captain, it is the only remembrance that I have of him. Hopefully upon wearing this he will realize that you are not there to cause [harm]."

Thesill says, "Make sure that you have this cloak before you enter his ship. Slay the darkwood menace and try to establish contact with Yggdren. Hopefully you can do so by wearing the cloak. Please complete this task and seek out Guard Ubra in the Burial Grounds to give her the cloak and any other sign from my Grandfather. She will give you your reward for completing this assignment for me. I would never ask you to complete such a task without some sort of [recompense]."

You receive the Captain's Cloak from Thesill!

Thesill says, "Look for Yggdren roaming the room on the deck in the center of the Call of Valhalla. Be patient if you cannot find him immediately. Guard Ubra said the reports indicated that he was not traversing the ship all the time. With the actions of some many trespassers he will make his presence known eventually. Hurry along now, Frostalf. Be quick, as time is not on this old Dwarf's side."

You find and kill the Darkwood Captain. Then go and talk to Captain Yggdren while wearing cloak. They are both located around location 23703,23939.

Captain Yggdren bows deeply to you, and gives you a ring.

You receive the Captain's Insignia Ring from Captain Yggdren!

Go to Guard Ubra in Burial Grounds location 39570, 29290.

Guard Ubra says, "Hello, Frostalf. How may I be of service?"

You give Guard Ubra the Captain's Insignia Ring.

Guard Ubra says, "I see that someone was finally able to put Yggdren's soul to rest and destroyed that menacing Darkwood Captain. Thesill will be very grateful to have this ring, as he does not have much left of his ancestors. It is something that he will [hold] dear."

Guard Ubra says, "He will be pleased to hear this news. I will definitely send word to him. Thank you for your work. Thesill wanted me to give you this belt to show his appreciation. I added some coin to the gift. May the gods bless you."
