DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different This quest is given by Paldo at loc 32565, 16935 in East Track 3 of the Abandoned Mines. Paldo says, "Wha? Oi! Ye startled me somethin' awful there! The mines are beautiful, but they make me a wee bit jumpy what with all these 'ere monsters roaming [about]!" Paldo says, "Aye, but 'tis worth havin' a bit of a look around. Why, these 'ere crystals are so lovely, I can hardly take me eyes off 'em! Alas that I forgot me pickaxe, or I could just put a few in me pocket, and bring 'em up top to show me friend, [Kogan]!" Paldo says, "Say! Now there's a bright idea if I do say so meself! I could just use Kogan's pickaxe to pry out these pretties! Listen - would ye mind goin' to fetch it for me? I'll give ye some coins for yer trouble - it's just a short trip after all!" You have been given the A Pickaxe for Paldo (Midgard) quest. [Level 29-32] Paldo says, "Ah, most gracious of ye! Now, let me tell ye where ye can find me [friend]." Paldo says, "Ye can find Kogan in the central shaft, up near the top where ye can take the mine carts down the tunnels. Tell him Paldo needs it to collect some pretty pebbles. That's our code, ye see. Off ye go, then! Come back with me pickaxe right quick!" Kogan says, "Hullo, friend. What can I do for ye?" You say, "pretty pebbles" Kogan says, "Hah! So, me friend Paldo's found somethin' shiny, and he needs me pickaxe to free it from it's stony grip, eh? Here ye go, then. I'm eager to see what lovely rocks he's fished up!" You receive the Kogan's Pickaxe from Kogan! Paldo says, "I can hardly wait to pry some of these brilliant beauties from their nest! Do ye have the pickaxe?" You give Paldo the axe. Paldo says, "Ye have done me a good service! Here's a handful of coins for yer pocket, and ye have my gratitude!" You have completed the A Pickaxe for Paldo (Midgard) quest. You are awarded 44 silver and some copper! You are awarded 13,500,000 experience! (at level 31) |
