Quest Dialog:

Speak with Sir Amren, is upstairs on the landing in the Defenders of Albion building loc=23358,23085,8214 dir=102 City of Camelot.

Sir Amren says, "Well met young Highlander. It is most fortunate that you are here. I just received a message that The Lady of the Lake, Nimue, has [requested an audience] with a representative of our guild."

Sir Amren says, "It must be providence that you have come. Your timing couldn't be more perfect. King Constantine needs our help, and after reviewing the work you've done for us in the past, I feel that you might be the [right person] for the task."

Will you answer Sir Amren's call? [Level 5]
You have been given the Stones of Power (Epic 1) quest.

Sir Amren says, "I would go myself but I have much to do here. Although you are new to our order, I think you are more than up to the task. You can find her far away in the frontier. No, that's not right. I think perhaps the [marshes] beyond the Campacorentin Forest are where you should look."

Sir Amren says, "It must be providence that you have come. Your timing couldn't be more perfect. King Constantine needs our help, and after reviewing the work you've done for us in the past, I feel that you might be the [right person] for the task."

Sir Amren says, "Oh no, that would never do for one so inexperienced. Some say that she has been seen at a [small lake] just north of Nob's stable which is just outside of Cotswold village."

Sir Amren says, "I must warn you that a meeting with Nimue can be most unsettling. She will do you no harm but that does not mean you will enjoy her company. She knows much and she sees something of us which we ourselves may not know. Some are called to [great things] in her charge, whether they wish for greatness or not."

Sir Amren says, "There are some who believe that Nimue is the keeper of Excalibur, the [sword] of our lost king."

Sir Amren says, "That is enough of my rambling. I don't think this has anything to do with magic swords or heroes of old. You had best be on your way now."

[Step #2] Find Nimue at the small lake just north of Nob's stable in Camelot Hills.
  • Lady Nimue is at loc=25377,15050,2360 dir=277 Camelot Hills.

  • Lady Nimue says, "Greetings (your name), I thank you for answering [my call]."

Lady Nimue says, "You should know that magic is everywhere. I have spent a great deal of time learning of all that surrounds us. The people, the beasts, the stars and even the [land] itself hold great power."

Lady Nimue says, "I have learned much on my own and through the teachings of great minds. I understand that such forces are not to be used recklessly. There are others however, who are more concerned with power at the cost of [understanding]."

Lady Nimue says, "These are the truly dangerous ones. The forces at work in our world can be used for great things but the same magic could also bring [destruction] upon the realm."

Lady Nimue says, "There are places where the energies of the land are strongest. There are such regions of power throughout the entire realm. Some of these places are clearly marked, like Stonehenge, while others are much more [difficult] to find."

Lady Nimue says, "One such place is not far from Humberton Castle. I sense that someone is trying to corrupt the energy from that location. Make your way to [Humberton] and learn what you may of this disturbance."

Lady Nimue says, "These strangers will attempt to hide in shadow and darkness but the place they seek will be marked by a stone of some kind. Captain Ryder knows well the woods surrounding the castle. Seek him out and he may aid you on your path."

[Step #3] Travel to Humberton and ask Captain Ryder about the stones of [power] that Nimue mentioned.
  • Captain Ryder is at loc=25046,43246,2284 dir=296 Black Mtns. South, near the bind stone in the center of Humberton Villiage, quickest way to get there from Nimue is catch a horse from Nob's stable to Camelot North Gate and jump off the horse when you reach Humberton, that is if you have 5 silver to spare, if not cut through Camelot City to Hubmerton. When you reach Captain Ryder click on him and type /whisper power.

  • Captain Ryder says, "Did you say stones of power? I do not know of any [rings of stone] or great obelisks near the keep."

Captain Ryder says, "I have seen two smaller stones on the hills to the south but we have increased our patrol to that side of town lately for other reasons. If there were any strange rituals going on we would have noticed. There is also a large rock to the north of the village before you get to the farmland. This could be the marker you seek."

[Step #4] Locate the stone north of Humberton, before the farm. Search the area around the stone for evidence of dark rituals.
  • You will find the stone at loc=19688,34674,2466 dir=309 Black Mtns. South, /Search here and you will get a pop-up box saying "You find strange carvings and some dried blood on the stone." Note that near the stone is a druid seeker, after you finish /searching he will attack you.

  • [Step #5] Defeat the druid seeker at the stone north of Humberton.

The druid seeker says, "You can not deny us. We have found many places of great power!"
The druid seeker says," I am but a candle in the sunlight. You have stopped nothing this day!."
    The druid seeker dies!

[Step #6] Return to Sir Amren in Camelot. Tell him what you have learned of the stones.

Sir Amren says, "It seems the Lady was right. You do show great promise as a Armswoman. Tell me now, what have you learned about these strange druids and their [dealings] in Humberton?"

You tell Sir Amren all that you have discovered about the lines of power and the stones.

Sir Amren says, "I don't understand much about the energies from the ground. I will [pass] what you have learned onto the Lady. I have a few scouts who keep in contact with her."

Sir Amren says, "Don't look surprised. You were not a simple errand boy sent to fetch orders. She asked to see you by name and so you were sent. Some say that she can see glimpses of the future. If she thinks you are [important] then I will not be the one to tell her otherwise."

Sir Amren says, "Don't get carried away. She won't be handing you a sword any time soon. I do think your [service] calls for some reward though."

Sir Amren says, "Take this for now. Keep in contact as you grow into your abilities. I am sure we will need your help again."

You receive the Enlistee Jewel from Sir Amren!
    You are awarded 5,120 experience!
    You are awarded 2 silver!

The /search command is no longer needed, and the Druid is agros you without it. But once you kill him, thats the end of that section. And at lvl 5 you only get 702 xp.
