My friend Lorcyn is coming to visit, and we're planning on going hunting in the Valley of Bri Leith. It's been awhile since I've been on a proper hunting trip, so I've [much] to do." Nyderra says, "I've got to mend this tear in my cloak, and there's still the matter of my [bow]..." Nyderra says, "My friend Lorcyn sent me a beautiful bow from one of the master bowyers in Lough Derg. He says it took almost a year just to season and carve the wood! It's magnificient, but I also noticed that the wrapping on the handle has begun to [unravel]." Nyderra says, "I'm not sure how to fix it, but I don't want Lorcyn to find out about it. It's such a wonderful gift and I know he'd be upset if there was anything wrong with it. Do you suppose you could bring it to my brother, who could fix it?" Will you help Nyderra get her bow fixed before her company arrives? [Level 7-10] You have been given the Quick Fix quest. Nyderra says, "Thank you for agreeing to help. My brother Eruven lives in Basar, the next town to the north and has the expertise necessary to fix the problem. Here's the bow. Please do be careful with it! Now, let me tell you how to find [Eruven]." You receive the Nyderra's Broken Bow from Nyderra! Nyderra says, "Eruven lives in the town of Basar, which is just north of Ardee. Follow the north road out of town and cross the bridge when you come to it. The road will lead you into Basar. Eruven will be the firbolg standing across from the guard tower." [Step #1] Take Nyderra's Broken Bow to Eruven in Basar. To get to Basar from Ardee, follow the road north until you come to the bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road into Basar. Eruven will be across from the guard tower. Eruven says, "Good day to you, Sylvan. How may I help [you]?" You tell Eruven that you've been sent by his sister Nyderra, to ask him to fix a problem with the bow her friend Lorcyn gave to her. Eruven says, "Ah, yes, Nyderra! I hope she's doing well. It's good to hear that she's hunting again. She's always enjoyed it, but her duties in Ardee have kept her from taking too many trips. May I have the bow?" Eruven says, "This is a magnificent weapon. Lorcyn really knows his way around a bow. Allow me a [moment] to inspect it." Eruven says, "I see the problem you were telling me about. This shouldn't take long to fix at all. In fact, Nyderra probably could have done it [herself]." Eruven removes some materials from his pack and works on the bow. Eruven says, "There we go. You can't even tell there was ever a problem with the grip. Let me return this to you so that you can get it back to Nyderra before her friend's arrival. I'm sure he'll ask after it if he doesn't see her with the new bow." You receive the Nyderra's Hunting Bow from Eruven! [Step #0] Return to Nyderra in Ardee with her fixed hunting bow. To get to Ardee from Basar, follow the road southwest out of town, cross the bridge to the west, and take the road south until you reach town. Nyderra says, "You're back, and not a moment too soon! Rhona says she saw a rider in the distance. I'll bet that's my friend Lorcyn. Do you have my bow with you?" Nyderra says, "Eruven's a lifesaver! You can't even tell that there was anything wrong with it. This hunting trip is going to be perfect! Here's a small payment for your help. Hopefully, when I return, I'll have plenty of meat and hides to share." You are awarded 1,100 experience! You are awarded 47 silver and 78 copper! lvl 7 received 1,100 experience. |
