DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Cady says, "Hello, are you here as a petitioner to see the King as well?" You inform her that you are not but ask Cady about her [petition]. Cady says, "I saw an odd man holding meetings south of Audliten and the guards refused to look into it. So I am bringing it to the attention of the King. Hopefully King Eirik will see my point and send someone to investigate both issues. First, to check out the meetings; and second, to investigate the guards who are to busy to do anything but stand around and gossip." You ask her if she is from [Audliten]. Cady says, "No, I travel a lot collecting supplies for an armor merchant here in Jordheim. I was in Audliten collecting ant carapaces for Ostusill for a piece of armor he is working on. That is when I spotted the odd man, about whom I am here to speak to the King, actually. Something about him was so peculiar and it made me uneasy. I have a sense for these things." You ask Cady how long she has been [waiting]. Cady says, "I have been here for quite some time now; much longer than I had anticipated. I had other errands to run while in Jordheim and I am afraid I may not be able to get to them. I could really use someone's help in completing one of my tasks. Would you be interested in helping me out? If you are a working towards being a Champion, the reward would be worth it, if you ask me." Would you be willing to complete one of Cady's tasks while she waits to see the King? You have been given the The Price of Vigilance quest. [Level 50] Cady says, "Thank you, friend. Your help is [appreciated]." Cady says, "Now, I have two tasks that I need to complete. I'd only need for you to do one of them for me, though. You can either deliver the [supplies] I collected in Audliten to Ostusill, or take a [message] to my dear friend Hildi. Both Ostusill and Hildi can be found in Jordheim. Think carefully about which choice of tasks you'd like to take on, because once you've made your choice, you cannot undo it." Cady says, "Wonderful! Ostusill can be found outside an armor shop near the North Gate. If he asks, just let him know that I am waiting to seek audience with our King. He will more than likely have another supply request for me. Once you return to me, I will reward you for your assistance." You receive the Supplies for Ostusill from Cady! [Step #2] Take the supplies to Ostusill the armor merchant near the north Gate. He is standing outside of a building. When asked hand him the supplies. Ostusill says, "Well met. What might I interest you in today, Healer?" You tell Ostusill you are here to deliver supplies for Cady. You explain the issue with the strange man holding meetings and the lack of assistance from the guards. You also tell him that she is [petitioning] the King for assistance to look into these issues. Ostusill says, "She has always had a keen eye for things like that. We can only hope the King will [follow through] with the petition and begin an investigation." Ostusill says, "Well, if you have those supplies, I will take them off your hands." Ostusill says, "These carapaces are perfect. If you would be so kind, take this list to her. Hopefully she will not mind traveling to Skona Ravine this time around. Thanks again, Healer." You receive the Supply List from Ostusill! Cady says, "You have returned. This line has not moved at all either. Did you deliver the supplies for me?" You advise her that you did and that you have a new supply list for her. She motions for you to hand it to her. Cady says, "Skona Ravine! Is he out of his wits? The pay better be good. Thank you so much, Healer. Take this reward for your efforts." You are awarded 10 gold! You have earned 800 champion experience! You are awarded 1,600,000,000 experience! |
