DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Per patch 1.69:
- Players between levels 1 and 11 that have completed this quest may return to Steward Willie for money and experience. Steward Willie will now give money and experience as part of the reward for this quest.

Steward Willie needs your help eliminating the wolf problem. After you agree to help him, the next wolf you kill will drop a pelt. Take it back to him and he will tell you to bring it to Seamstress Lynnet in Ludlow. Give it to her and she will fashion you a wolf pelt cloak. You can wear the cloak, or as an alternative, you can give it to Brother Don in Vestua Abby to help clothe the orphans and gain some decent experience.

You have entered Humberton Castle.

Steward Willie says, "Aye, hello there! Have ye been sent t'help with our [problem]?"

Steward Willie says, "What? Ye haven't heard? Hhhmm, then I wonder if ye would [like to help]?"

Steward Willie says, "That wonderful! We've been havin' a serious problem wiht a pack of wolves. His Lordship wants'em eliminated because they have been a-bothering the people here about. His Lordship has authorized me to reward those who [serve him well]."

Dialog box: Do you accept the Wolf Pelt Cloak quest?

You have been given the Wolf Pelt Cloak quest.

Steward Willie says, "Good! I know we ca'count on ye. I will reward ye for the pelt ye bring me from one fo those vile beasts!"

Kill a Black Wolf, and return to Steward Willie.

Steward Willie says, "Ah, well done! His Lordship will be pleased to know there is one less mongrel in the pack! Take this token from His Lordship. If ye give it to Seamstress Lynnet in Ludlow, she'll give ye your reward. Thank ye for your fine services to His Lordship."

You receive a wolf head token from Steward Willie!

Seamstress Lynnet says, "Well done! Here's your fine wolf pelt cloak. Wear it with pride knowing you have helped his Lordship."

You receive a wolf pelt cloak from Seamstress Lynnet!

You have finished the Wolf Pelt Cloak quest.

As an alternate ending you can give your cloak to the orphanage.

Brother Don says, "Hail! You don't perhaps have one of those fine wolf pelt cloaks? If you no longer have need for it, we could greatly use it at the [orphanage]."

Brother Don says, "Why yes, the little ones can get an awful chill during the long cold nights, so the orphanage could use a good donation of wolf cloaks. I would take any you could find."

You give Brother Don your Wolf Pelt Cloak.

Brother Don says, "Thank you! Your service to the church has been noted!"

You are awarded experience!

lvl 4 received 20 experience and 4 silver

how much exp would this give to a level one person? imagine 5 people doing this quest and all of them donating the cloaks to the level one guy, to give to charity? Insane

Greetings,

While the stats on the Wolf Pelt Cloak arn't amazing, it is better than a store-baught cloak. If you're new to the game/realm, it will save you a silver or two as well as introduce you to the quest system.

I would not recomend this quest for re-rolls, as the time it takes is not worth the amount of EXP given if you have a "hurry up and level" attitude.

Don't ask me why, but I completed this quest as lvl 9 infiltrator. Just thought I would share.

This one is so easy its hardly worth the time, but it is a good one for newbies to get the feel for how to quest. The cloak isn't really good for much, though (for a Paladin anyway), so I suggest donating it to Vetusta Abbey for those poor little cyber-urchins so they won't grow up and become bandits or filidhs or something...

I'm nearly 100% certain I did this quest at level 1 with a highlander cleric. All that is required is that you have completed the Immediate Resolution quest first - you won't get this one until that's completed. (Of course, it's hard to finish that quest and NOT level to 2 if you've hit anything else on the way - I made sure to not gain any other XP so I could test it.)

Yep, level 1 quest. The barkeep in Camelot will tell you the rumor at level 1. Bind in Humberton, fight the wolf, probably die if you're a melee, use /face after you /release, then go finish that puppy off.

I ran all over the abbey and was unable to find either a Brother Don or Bob. None of the other brothers there would accept the cloak. Any hints on this? Can anyone verify that this part of the quest is still active?

giving the cloak to the monk gives you a bit of exp ( about half a bubble at level 6)

You can also be granted information for this quest if you speak to the Bartender at the Mug in Camelot. He will send you to the "Steward of the Inn in Humberton" ... no name.

You then find Steward Willie in the court yard of the Humberton Keep. I passed him at first since he is dressed in armor and kilt, I misstooke him for a merchant rather than walking close enough to see his name.

You're talking about the level 7 class quest that everyone gets at level 7 from their trainer. It has nothing to do with with quest.

My wizard friend got a magic jewel, the Demon's Heart from this quest.

The Wolf Cloak quest is a newbie quest, and it works as it says above. I think you accidentally posted on the wrong topic, or posted drunk. =D

I discovered while doing this quest that a bear cub pelt is worth 90 copper. After finishing this quest I killed bear cubs until my inventory was full, making around 20 silver.

the quest is ok for newbies (even though it won't make any noticable difference, it's just fun to do quests =) but it quickly loses it's usefulness.

there IS however something you can do with it. to the left of camelot's north gate is an abbey, and you can donate it to one of the monks inside for a children's charity. (just talk to the monks and you'll find him)

i don't know what this does exactly, but it can't hurt getting in good with the church =)

and you thought the cloak was worthless...

I've done this action and gave the Wolf Cloak to
the monk name Brother Bob (As I remember). He reward me back nice experience (I done this at level 5). I checked it's over 2 bubbles that bring me to level 6.
