DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Thank you for answering my summons, (Your name). We just received word from the commander of the occupation force at [Hagg Dalur]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "A courier delivered a letter to the fortress yesterday. It was signed only with an initial; we are unsure of the sender's purpose. The note requested a meeting between one of Nephraal's officers and a servant of their [patron]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "King Eirik believes it would be best to keep up appearances by sending a trusted agent of the Crown to this meeting.

You've proven yourself to be capable and trustworthy, (Your name). Will you agree to help the King uncover the identity of the sender and their relationship with Nephraal?"

You have been given the Conspiracy: Dark Development quest.

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "His Majesty will be most pleased that you've agreed to continue assisting us. His faith in you is well justified by your accomplishments thus far, (Your Name). When we're finished speaking, I'll give you the [letter] so that you can read it yourself."

Athr Hasetti nods.

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "It contains nothing that would positively identify Nephraal's patron, but clearly it is someone familiar with Midgard's politics and history. Once you get past all the rhetoric, you'll find directions to the [meeting place]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "I know that I needn't remind you to exercise caution. You may wish to bring a friend with you as an escort. The letter says his servant anticipates meeting Nephraal's 'delegation,' so a single person would be likely to arouse the messenger's [suspicions]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "It is absolutely essential that you maintain your cover for as long as possible. The more information we can obtain from this messenger, the easier it will be to identify and act against his [master]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Report to me as soon as the meeting is concluded. His Majesty anxiously awaits the opportunity to make an example of who ever is assisting Nephraal."

You receive the Letter to Nephraal from Athr Hasetti Theyr!
You attempt to use the Letter to Nephraal.
You use the Letter to Nephraal.

You skim over most of the letter, which congratulates Nephraal on his continued progress and, at the conclusion of Ragnarok, makes promises of power and influence in the 'new Midgard to come.' At the bottom, there appears to be a set of directions to the meeting place. Nephraal's representatives are instructed to travel to Aegir and look for the messenger at the back of a crumbled building to the north of Bjarken in Gripklosa Mountains.

[Step #3] Travel to the meeting site in Shrouded Isles. The letter says to wait at the crumbled buildings to the north of Bjarken in Gripklosa Mountains. He will be near one of the ruins that overlooks the entrance to Bjarken.

At (8.7k 47k) a Mysterious Messenger awaits.
You examine Mysterious Messenger. He is neutral towards you.

Mysterious Messenger says, "Hail, friend. My master sends his greetings and desires to know how your plans are [progressing]."

Remaining deliberately vague, you assure the messenger that things are going smoothly in Gamanborg and that the sect's membership is growing. The messenger nods in approval.

Mysterious Messenger says, "My master will be very pleased. The time is nearing for us to implement the next [phase] of our strategy."

At the mention of the next phase, your eyes light up. It takes a split second for you to hide your reaction, but the messenger seems to have detected it.

Mysterious Messenger says, "You...you are an impostor! It seems Nephraal was not quite as clever as he believed. Prepare to die, whelp, for none can stand before the fury of my master!"

Mysterious Messenger dies!

[Step #4] During your conversation, the messenger revealed his true identity as a demon. Return to Athr Hasetti with the Sheaf of Documents.

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Welcome back to the court, (Your Name). What were you able to learn from your meeting with the messenger from the Chosen's [mysterious patron]?"

You tell the Athr Hasetti of your brief meeting with the messenger, and his remarks about the ensuing battle. You also mention the packet of documents recovered from the corpse of the demon.

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "A demon, you say? Are you certain that's what you saw? Truly, Nephraal must have taken leave of his senses to ally himself with such an abomination! When he and his followers first started spouting their invective, I prayed that they were only the actions of a [misguided devotee]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "While it pains me to have my naivete exposed, I am relieved to know the truth of Nephraal's betrayal. While the King will be shocked, he will be grateful to know the true nature of what we are facing. May I have the documents you recovered from the demon?"

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Thank you. The King must know about this right away, so please excuse me if this is a bit abrupt. While I am consulting with His Majesty, it would be best for you to begin finding out more about our new [enemy]."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Seek out Vigdis Gythja of Hel in Jordheim and ask her to send you to the Keeper Iraeda. The Keeper is wise in the ways of otherworldly beings, and her knowledge will be of great use to us in the coming battle."

[Step #5] Seek out Vigdis Gythja of Hel in Jordheim and ask her to help you locate Iraeda.

[Step #6] Right click on the Teleportation Stone that Vigdis Gythja of Hel gave you and /use it while standing in Jordheim. The stone will teleport you to Keeper Iraeda's tower and can be used to leave at any time.

speak with Keeper Iraeda inside Keeper Iraeda's Sanctuary, She will transform into a demon con green at lvl 50
Popup box: "You've overcome the demon impersonating Keeper Iraeda. Ask Morkosis what has happened."

[Step #7] Speak with Morkosis to see what has happened.

When you are finished talking to Morkosis he will teleport you back to Jord

[Step #8]Return to Athr Hasetti Theyr and tell him of what happened at the Keeper's Tower.

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Ah, (Your Name), it is good to see you again. Morkosis arrived just a moment ago but had to go straight to the Council. He told me that you have an important [message] for the King."

You tell Athr Hasetti of the events at the Keeper's Tower. His eyes widen in disbelief.

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "Inconceivable! How could they have infiltrated our highest ranks without our knowledge? The Rebellion is trivial compared to the [threat] posed by such a foe."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "When His Majesty learns of this, he will undoubtedly order us to redouble our efforts to root out this enemy and get to the bottom of this conspiracy. I must tell King Eirik of these new developments right away, but do not [go far], (Your Name)."

Athr Hasetti Theyr says, "The King sends word that he is most impressed with your work in bringing an end to the Rebellion and making sense of the ensuing chaos. He has asked me to convey his thanks and to give you this purse of coins. "
