Take a horse to Innis Carthaig. She is there inside a hut. Apprx. /loc is 48553,40916, 4313. She is next to the Firbolg Harper that told you the Tale of Handreas earlier in your quest.

The "Siabra distorters" are now called "Moheran Distorters" since the last patch. These gals conned gray and green to me at level 26. I pulled a few single, knocked them down and then pulled a scout which brought the rest - they hardly hit me. Went inside the building to talk to the imprisoned druid, Harkin. Then all Hades breaks loose and some higher level distorters show up and I am doomed as the mezz me and nuke me to death. These distorters were con blue and yellow and they all came at once. Be prepared. you might get away and you might not. Bring friends if possible.

I also recommend running from the druid spirit that appears at the old hermit when you give the old hermit the bas jewel. You can run to safety in Innis especially if she aggros on pet.

Finally - no one has mentioned the decent Green Vine necklace that you get when you free Druid Harkin. It is like +3 power and +1 regrowth. Very cool.

At 31 I haven't finished this quest, been too busy armorcrafting and healing groups in TC =). Funny though, exploring outside TC a bit, I saw a group of Druids that were neutral to me. Hey! I'm a Druid, they're Druids, let's chew the fat a little!

*NOT*

When I got somewhat close, they ran at me spouting something about Cad Goddau (whatever). Then they called me a "fool". Mistake -- big one. The cat took em all out with little trouble.

Off to see the Chieftess I guess.

Druids part step 9
# Nov 15 2001 at 6:53 PM Rating: Default
The Meruchas are simply a reference point to finding the druids that will drop a bracer, which is then turned into a Chieftess located in Innis. The reward for this part of the quest is a very sweet pair of gloves with about 4 or 5 stats and 50 AF (scale). I was at 29 when i did this part of the quest and the druids conned both green and occasionally blue. Be prepared to be agrod by 4 or 6 of them when you are even remotely close to them, (providing you are on the quest)
Problem
# Nov 15 2001 at 8:30 AM Rating: Default
Ok, I did all the leg work to include seeing the bard and getting a second quest. He explains about the old hermit being a king and vowing that he'd always return whenever some kinda invader(don't remember the type) entered our lands. The only way for the old hermit to not be reawakened again is to have the druid break the curse. The only way for him to release is to cleave the descendant of the original invaders in two or have the druid break the curse. The bard tells me to go back to the old hermit and tell him to fulfill his vows. The journals tells me to free the druid but first go back to the old hermit and tell him to fulfill his vows.

I went back to the old hermit but he wont respond to "fulfill your vows" or "fulfill his vows" or "fulfill your vow" or "fulfill his vow". I'm supposed to do this before I free the druid. Hmmf, stuck.

Druid Epic quest
# Nov 14 2001 at 7:29 AM Rating: Default
I believe this is the Druid Epic quest.

My experience:
Somehow I ended up with two druid trees, the first I got from Torrence, the second I (think) got from Neasan. There does not appear to be a need for the second, I hope I am right.

I got the key and the Nature affinity ring from the Blademaster, I did nopt see the boots, this maybe a random drop I dunno. If you go to Innis Carthaig from Connla, he is in the bunchof Redwoods just before you reach Innis Carthaig. I was alos unable to get any speech from him until he died, i was clicking madly at that time, and don;t know what he said...dialogue went away.

I have not done the Siabra part yet.

getting the bracer
# Nov 06 2001 at 12:19 PM Rating: Decent
The part where you are supposed to get a bracer from a druid behind the Maruchas can be simplified. Killing any "a druid" will work to finish this step. It is MUCH easier to kill one of the "a druid" around Riocard in Bri Lith. They can be found at the top of a hill with a bunch of stones on it. Their camp glows at night so it's not hard to find and it's relativly safe. Just keep an eye out for the roaming seekers.

I was the first in my guild to finish my lvl 30 Epic which was this one Cad Goodreau, it's afun quest with some danger in it. The end result I will keep secret but is well worth the effort.

For a druid the lvl 30 reward is a shield, has some very nice stats +regrowth +nurture +nature, +empathy and maybe more don't remember, anyway it cons yellow to a lvl 30, even if it cons lower its good just for the stats for a druid!!

The sheild is called The Jagged Sheild and has +4 emp and +2 to all skills. Still cons yellow to me at 33. A very nice item indeed.

It seems alot of classes can get this quest, I was with a bard friend, we were both 29. He lost me when I went to the hermit to give him the jewel, when I handed him the jewel a ORANGE Druid Spirit that hit very hard attacked me, I used both quick heals and couldnt take him down, my bard friend resssed me back up and when I got Health back I moved near Hermits house again and the spirit came after my *** again. He killed me and only me again, and let my bard friend keep whacking him, then as i died the spirit vanished. Next im to find the Merucahas. THanks for all the info guys.

Little Picky
# Nov 04 2001 at 1:12 PM Rating: Default
The druid at the distorter camp was a bit picky with the wording. Make sure you're saying it as it is in your journal. He didn't respond to me at first because I had left out Old in the Old Hermit, and of course seems to be a level requirement of 20 here.

I'm a lvl 22 mentalist and I'm getting very frustrated with the this quest. After telling the chief about the Old Hermit awakening he sent me to talk to his son in Innis Carthaig. So I hoped on a horse to chat this Firbolg bard fellow. He told me a nice story yada yada yada which basically led to no where. My journal instruct me to go talk to the druid in the Saibra Distorter camp about the Hermit's reawakening, but after clearing a few distorters the druid won't say a thing to me. I get no chat option from him at all. I already tried all kind of phrase to get the ******* to speak to no avail. What am I doing wrong? What do I have to say to the Druid? Help!
Level Limit?
# Nov 03 2001 at 1:34 PM Rating: Default
For the part with the druids in Lough Gur (Near the Merchuas did you need to be 25 or 30?
Evangelica
# Nov 02 2001 at 10:33 PM Rating: Default
Ok the location of the Meruchas is 10291, 30419 and the druids are off to the right of that in the forest, I just ran by them to get the bracer, but for some reason the bracer is not used at all and just takes up inventory, you don't even need to turn it it, it might be a part of another quest, BTW I messed up the Meruchas are not in the Bog but in Lough Derg, also for Riocard just kill him and then turn in the Bas jewel to the hermit and you get your shield!!!
RE: Evangelica
# Nov 03 2001 at 7:09 AM Rating: Default
well lets start off with how you get lough derg and the bog mistaken for one another? next the loc you give is where the little spraggon is for like a lvl 5 quest, and when you turn the bas jewel into the hermit a spirit spawns cons red at lvl 25, so are you just bs'ing everyone or what?
RE: Evangelica
# Nov 04 2001 at 2:42 PM Rating: Default
No, he is not bs'ing everyone (at least I would assume it). /loc is zone dependent. That is, there is a 1000,1000 in Sivermine Mountains, a 1000,000 in Lough Gur, a 1000,000 in Bog of Cullen, etc. While I have not checked out his particular /loc, I would assume it is in Lough Gur
step 10 - RIOCARD
# Nov 02 2001 at 10:13 PM Rating: Default
Has anyone get anything from the druid riocard or at least get him to talk? what do you have to say to him and is there a lvl limit for it?

When i was reading the stuff the hermit was telling me just b4 step 10, a freaking spirit wacked me :/

The Meruchas are found in the Bog of Cullen, there are Mermen close by also and druids that roam around in that area, the druids conned blue to me at 27 but the end result for this part of the quest are some really nice gloves for a druid, not sure about the other quests for other classes but the gloves are 50 af and a ton of other crap I will not mention =), Good Hunting

anyone have problems getting the chief to speak to you or the druid? I tried talking to the chief w/o success (im 20). Decieded to round up some friends went into siabra camp and the druid wouldn't talk to me
RE: respnose from chief/druid
# Nov 01 2001 at 1:01 PM Rating: Default
Took me a bit to figure this out. Instead of simply right clicking on them, or saying help, you actually need to say a phrase. The phrase for King Neasan was "Old hermit reawakened" or something like that. The entry in your journal will basically spell the phrase out for you. Should say, talk to so and about X. Say X to the NPC and voila.

Look on your map!!!! The Cliffs of Moher aren't hard to find! there is big print, it says: "Cliffs of Mhoer". You're told to find the Siabra camp in the Cliffs of Moher! Just go look for the darn huts! It's not hard to find, you're just lazy.

Now, I am still searching for the damn "the Maruchas". "The" isn't capitalized. I am on this same Blademaster quest: Mentalist version. Has anyone seen anything on any site anywhere that resembles "the Maruchas"????

Secondly.. Why in the hell doesn't Allakhazam's fix this damn split quest screen and put two up?? Are you both lazy or what?!

RE: Davina
# Jan 20 2002 at 1:04 AM Rating: Default
loc of the Moheran camp is approximately 49,000 22,000

If you go to Ardagh and take a horsey ride to Tir Uphost you'll go past the north entrance of Tir Na Nog, past the tower where sentinals are, then past a spot in the road where you'll see a stone that looks like a bindstone on the rightside and one of those glowing rocks on the left. The camp is on top of that small hill that's just to the right of the road.

Caution: This camp has scouts and they bring lots of friends... *says: uh oh - um run* *sees 9 siabras casting...* On the bright side they still let me pull! >P

Best of Luck to you - Oh, he (the Druid) didn't seem to want to talk to you unless you had all the previous stuff done and were level 20.
