DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

Master Vismer says, "The hour is upon us. We have chosen our [final target] for your spell. It is our hope that in its undoing shall come the knowledge we have sought for so long. We shall soon know who raises the dead within our realm and what must be done to stop the evil necromancy."

Master Vismer says, "There exists one know as Lunaris Primus Pilus. On his last command he lead a force against Barfog and perished on the battlefield. Entombed in a monastery, the commander has lain peacefully for over a hundred years. With the rise of the dead, the roman commander's sleep was broken and he now haunts the crumbled monastery. You must [put to rest] Lunaris primus pilus, but must do so within the walls of the monastery. Should he fall outside its walls, he will rise once again."

Master Vismer says, "Use your spell as instructed. This is no different from the last. Here are your components, hopefully they are strong enough for the deed that lay before you. Good luck! Do not hesitate to join forces with others to accomplish this task."

Master Vismer gives you the components here and they appear in your inventory.

You must go to Llyn Barfog to get the Lunaris Primus Pilus (level 30). Once you enter Llyn Barfog head towards the guard tower then north to the monastery.

Now's the tricky part, you can try to kill Lunaris Primus Pilus and all his minions but you can just initiate the log with him and when he aggros after you Morgana will appear. Don't try to attack her she will kill you!

Stand back and Morgana will kill Lunaris Primus Pilus and then...

Morgana says, "FOOL! You have meddled in my affairs for too long! Even now, as I take your only source of information, those idiots within your order learn of their failure. They watch even now! Let them now realize that trust should not have been put into one so weak. Prepare yourself, thy end is at hand."

Morgana says, "Flee while you still have breath! My children await on your voyage home!"

RUN back to Master Vismer for your reward.

Rewards:
Glowing Adamantium Staff of the Fire Tempest
  Staff of Compliance
  Shield of Swirling Notes

Yawn....Just finished this quest.

Hardest part about it was negotiating the horse transfers. Not a bad staff though.

Just initiate combat with the head guy (yellow) at Level 30, and hit the macro.

Game over.

Simple enough for me (lvl30 Fire Wizard), once I figured out what was to be done. I found the best entrance to use was the hole in the right side of the South wall (meaning you will be facing North). I rooted the undead monk standing there (most of them were yellow, a few were orange at lvl30), ran in and used the quest macro, then ran out as the Evocatus praetorii came after me. I didn't actually see any sign of Morgana, but the Evocatus was on the ground when I turned around. I then dealt with the monk I had rooted (bolt, bolt, DD, DD) and ran back to stablemaster Kelin. As for Morgana's 'children'; all I noticed was a howling maiden in the pass, running southward as I turned the corner out of Barfog.

[The howling maiden says, "Aeeeeiiii!!!!"]

This quest is kinda misleading. I read the description here and the two comments below, but I didn't quite get what they were talking about.

After actually doing the quest, I realize what they were getting at. This quest will not go as planned, but with this foreknowledge, you can save yourself some confusion.

Just get to the monastery, find the wall with the hole on the right and the burnt rafters above it (should be across from that friendly NPC on the hill), and root/stun/mez pull (I nuked it to death, either will work) the blue legionaire thing inside. You see, Lunaris is kind of hidden behind that wall. The legionaire should BAF useing Lunaris and he'll run out from behind the wall. However, by the time Lunaris is whacking you, Morgana should appear on the rafters and launch a fireball up its ***** You don't have to do a thing to Lunaris, and even if you could kill him before Morgana can, I'm confident it wouldn't affect the outcome. Stick around for Morgana's little speech.

Here's something that wasen't mentioned: You know that comment about her children awaiting on your voyage home? As soon as you hit the border between barfog and BM north after Morgana kills Lunaris, some sort of skeleton appears (I think it was an angry cyrathul or something, blue to a lvl 30). Since I took the horse outta there, I completely bypassed it and never saw it again.

Have you ever done something by mistake and got the results you wanted? I got to the monastery and started to scope out the area. There was a Lvl 31 Sorcerer there doing his quest also. I had set the words to be recited to a macro on a different quick bar so I wouldn't have to fumble and try to type it out. I went into the East side opening and instantly got attacked by a blue that spawned. I still had my drum in my hand like a dork and hit the qbar button to arm myself. I had never changed qbars from when I made the macro for what you're supposed to recite....so instead of arming myself...I spoke the words. I never saw Lunaris, but I saw the words that Morgana spoke. I killed the legionaire that was whacking on me and checked my pack...the bag Vismer gave me was gone and my journal had been updated to return to Camelot. When I got back to Camelot Master Vismer gave me the Shield of Swirling Notes. Nice shield. It appears as a medium shield when armed.

As an Ice wizard (31) I simply rooted one of the
visible legionairs (blue to me) inside the monastery
and Lunaris started to attack me (yellow, previous
invisible). I rooted him too, run to some safe
distance and killed him. Maybe Morgana was involved
too, but I did not see her.
