DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Your trainer in Connla will ask you to talk to Keaghan about curing the fever in town. He will ask you to get two bits of mud from mudmen (which can be found by exiting the door beside Keagen and turning towards the hills on your left) and either a shinbone from a skeleton pawn or a sandcake from a sandman (both of which can be found in the fields just outside the door beside Keagan). The quest items will appear automatically in your inventory when you kill the relevant creatures. No need to pick anything up. Note that you CAN sell quest items, so do NOT sell these by accident.

Keagan says, "Have you come to collect the ingredients so that I may [cure the town] of this horrid fever going around?"

Keagan says, "It's truly a miracle you've not been affected. I think I can make a poultice or a brew that will break the fever, but I'm too weak with it myself to go and get the ingredients. It's nothing difficult really. Do you know [what is needed]?"

You have been given the Connla's Fever quest.

Kaegan says, "First, I need two bits of mud. You can collect t hem from the mudmen wandering just outside the village. Then, I'll need, oh, the fever has taken my mind, I can't remember if I need a dried sand cake from a sandman or the shinbones from a skeletal pawn. Oh, and I need to rest. I can't think of which one it is. It's one or the other. When you get the ingredients, bring them to me. I'm going to lie down and rest while you collect the ingredients."

[Step #2] Collect two bit of mud from two mudmen.

[Step #3] Kill one sandman for a dried sand cake, or a skeletal pawn for its shin bone.

Pawn is easier, quicker kill.

[Step #4] Bring the ingredients to Keagan.

Keagan says, "Rhodry, you're back. Oh wait, you're not Rhodry... this fever is making me lose my memory. I hope you have the ingredients. Here, give me a bit of mud first."

Keagan says, "Thank you Talelia. Now hand me that second bit of mud please."

Keagan says, "Good, good. Okay, hand me the shin bones. I'll take forever to grind these, but it must be done."

Keagan says, "Ah thank you, Ereex, ah, got you name right! Well, let me put this together for the towns people. This should surely cure the fever."

You have finished the Connla's Fever quest.
You are awarded experience!

When I did this quest he asked for 2 bits of mud, and a sandcake or shinbone. I got the 2 bits of mud and killed a lot of Sandmen to get the sandcake. I didn't get any sandcake and i couldn't find any skeleton pawns so I just continued leveling.
Later i found a skeleton pawn. It was grey now but I kicked its *** anyway, and got the shinbone and completed the quest.

So if you need to kill a mob to get a questitem you will get the item nomatter if the mob is grey!
complete the quest

The 'constitution' message bugged me too until I figured out that you have to actually give the items to the guy. Go to inventory, click on the first item (for me it was a 'bit of mud') and then click on the healer to give it to him. Then give him the next item, and then the final one. Quest should complete and you should get XP.

I wouldn't worry about this quest if the mobs are grey now. Time to move on to more glorious quests.

On your character sheet is an option for journal. If you click on this it will normally tell you in very simple terms exactly what you have to do, and where characters are situated.

Varying Requirements

I have done this quest a few times and the final items which I needed to deliver were different each time. Since the quest items are automatically added to your inventory and you don't need to pick them up, this caused me more than a little confusion initially as it took me a LONG time to figure out I had all the items. However, if you monitor your inventory, you will see when you get the items that you need, whatever the particular requirements are for your version of the quest.

I received this quest last night and I reached the point where I needed to bring a sandcak or a shin bone, It was daytime to I immediatly set about killing sandmen kiled about 10 and no cakes dropped, howerver I killed a skeleton and got the shin bone right off. At first I thought it may be bugged but then I got to thinking that maybe the reason its or is that the healer cant quite remember and that the shin bone is right but he is confused about the sand cakes. Has anyone else ran into this while doing this quest?

I found Beli but he won't take the items from me and just ignores me when I try and talk to him. The message says that I have all of my constitution points already but I don't want constitution I want to complete the stupid quest.

I actually had all the items. Handed him the first shin bone. He asked if I had more so I tried to give him the second one he wanted but he wouldn't take it:( So I tried to drop the shin bone and get another. But haven't seen another shin bone since.
